This sweet girl was found as a stray or, more likely, abandoned, as so many are these days. Fliers were posted, she was scanned for a chip but didnt have one and no one came looking for her. The person who found her was unable to keep her so she reached out to us before taking her to the shelter. Bambi is being boarded now because we do not have any open fosters. She is in need of either a foster home, foster-to-adopt home or adoptive home. Bambi is a young spayed female Anatolian Shepherd Dog or mix. Her estimated DOB is roughly July- to Oct 2022 (between 9 to 12 months old). She is spayed and fully vetted and is heartworm negative. She is a sweet, silly, playful girl. She is friendly with people and has been good with the other dogs in the play yard at the kennel. TRANSPORT ASSISTANCE options are available to areas including, but not limited to, Pacific Northwest, East Coast, Midwest and other points within a radius of 1,000 miles. He has settled into his foster home, but is still working on refining his basic manners. Louie is completely house trained, crate trained, stays off furniture and is highly food motivated. Louie loves to play with both his human friends and his dog friends. He is very loyal and has some typical shepherd attributes. Louie came from a home with 5 other dogs and he currently has a foster sibling. He is looking for a forever home and having another dog would help with his puppy energy. Gremlin is being fostered in NC. Howdy, I'm Gremlin, a 6 month old Great Dane, but don't worry, you CAN get me wet and I won't turn into Spike! I actually LOVE playing in water. My foster Mommy says I am a gentle giant, but I am still a baby and very playful. I need to learn my commands by touch because I cannot see or hear. And, well, I can be a little slower and I need repetitiveness with my training so I can be a very good boy. My foster Mommy is working with me on my manners, but I can be a bit slow because I have a great nose for food wherever it is heehee. It takes me a little time to navigate a new area, but I will get it, just be patient with me. Right now, I have a Cane Corso foster sister to play with and I love playing tug and wrestle with her. I am already potty and crate trained! When I wake in the morning, I will bark to let you know I has to go outside to do my business. I also walk well on a leash. The bestest thing I really love is to have my ears rubbed and to cuddle with humans. I don't know why they feel squished, after all, I'm the same size as a chihuahua aren't I LOL I just want my very own family to love me and guide me along my journey in this life. And, of course, to cuddle with furever. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
