Story
Meet Holly Holly is a beautiful girl with a gentle soul who is ready to find her forever home. Found on Christmas Day, she truly is a holiday miracle still waiting for her happy ending. Holly has a sweet, playful temperament and a soft, submissive nature. She can be shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a loyal companion who loves staying close by your side. She carries just enough puppy energy to keep life fun and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially if she has a canine friend to play with. Given the choice, Holly would much rather wrestle and run with a playmate than chase toys. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has shown no issues around cats, calmly coexisting and giving them their space. Holly is currently working on crate training and appears to be potty trained. Because she startles easily, she would do best in a home with older, gentle children and a calm environment where she can continue to build confidence. Holly is looking for a patient, loving home where she can feel secure, grow, and share her quiet affection. Could you be the forever family she’s been waiting for? January 12, 2026, 2:49 pm

Story
Your new best friend—built for fun, snuggles included.   This 7-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighs about 27 lbs and is full of love and puppy charm. She’s playful, gentle, and happiest when she’s close to her people—whether that’s following you from room to room or curling up nearby. She is crate trained, potty trained, and has been eating well, making her an easy addition to a loving home. She loves going on walks and behaves well on the leash, enjoying time outside just as much as cozy moments indoors. She’s done great with other dogs and enjoys friendly canine company. While she hasn’t had experience with cats or children yet, she’s eager to learn and would do best with a family willing to help her continue growing into a confident, well-rounded pup. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion, she could be your perfect match! January 13, 2026, 9:59 pm

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Koya! In Filipino, Koya means "older brother," which is the perfect name for this older pup. He was found alone with his sister after their mother went missing. We can’t say what happened to their mother, and we can’t say what they went through when left alone — but we can say that Koya is the best brother to his sister, Kita. Within just a few days, Koya has made great progress in his behavior and trust toward humans. At first, he was terrified to walk, but now he walks on a leash and runs around with his sister. He might be reserved at first, but with some patience and care, he’ll warm up to you and start asking for pets by pawing you with his paw. He might even play a little game of the “zoomies” with you once he's comfortable. Koya also loves to play with toys, especially stuffies. He loves to run around with his sister, but he is also very dog social and will happily play with all dogs. It might take a little time for Koya to fully come out of his shell, but when he does, he’s truly a sweetheart who loves to give kisses. This pup has had a tough start in life, but he’s now ready for a fresh beginning. Are you ready to join him? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of has been sponsored by a generous donor and covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Dawn and Rae are two truly special Kangal dogs, a Turkish herding breed, who are in need of a loving home. These fan favorites are known for their sweet and goofy personalities, as well as their powerful presence. Despite their strength, they can be timid and require love and patience. This bonded pair has been in boarding for far too long, and it’s time they find a forever home where they can thrive. Kangals are a remarkable breed, known for their loyalty and protective nature. By adopting or fostering Dawn and Rae, you’ll not only be gaining two wonderful companions, but you’ll also be giving them the chance to experience the love and care they deserve. Story
This boy was forced out of his home where he was a protector of an elderly couple. Their land lord got notice of the dog and told them he had to go or they would be evicted. We had room at our shelter so took him in to keep him from being euthanized at that time. Large dogs do not adopt out well in our area. So if a decision ever has to be made to make room, he will be the one that has to go. He has been around kids and loves them. He will make someone a great dog that has room for him to play as he is a large dog. He loves to play with the water hose, other dogs, and toys as well. He is also microchipped.
