Meet Jeffrey! Jeffrey may look like a big, tough guy at first glance, but don’t let his size (or his booming bark) fool you — he’s really just a goofy softie with a heart of gold. He’s the kind of dog who can make you laugh with his silly antics one minute and melt into you for cuddles the next. Jeffrey gets along with other dogs and even does well with cats. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he decides you’re his friend, he’ll shower you with all the love he has to give. He loves to run, play, and enjoy the outdoors, but he’s equally happy to curl up close when it’s time to relax. What makes Jeffrey truly special is his big personality and even bigger heart. Sadly, his bark and size sometimes cause people to overlook him, but those who take the time to get to know Jeffrey quickly realize he’s just a lovable goof ready to find his place in the world.

Nova is the sweetest dog I have ever owned. She is good with cats and loves kids (she has been around both all of her life). I have a video to demonstrate. She loves to be around people and has some anxiety when I travel, which I do a lot. I don't want to give her away, but I am gone so much and she needs people around. She is on a medication for incontinenence, but that keeps it under control very well. I have a large supply that I will give to the adopting family. She is big (65 pounds), loving and hairy. She wants to cuddle and be with her people.

Simcoe is a super smart pup who we adopted in August of 2018 from Austin Pets Alive when he was about 4 months old. He knows commands like dab, spin, sit pretty, and jump, in addition to the typical sit, shake, wait, leave it, and chill. He can also open doors. He's such a cool dog, and wants to be an only child; who can blame him?! He's generally good with other dogs after an introduction, but we feel it would be best for him to be the only dog at his new home. He's weary of small children, but would probably do well with older kids who understand pup boundaries. We hope to find the best new owner for him who doesn't have kids or other dogs. Hopefully someone who also loves the great outdoors, pools, and squirrels as much as he does.
