Story
Goofy is a sweet and gentle senior Anatolian Shepherd who has spent his life in a small outdoor enclosure. He hasn’t had the chance to explore the world, so everything will be new and a little scary for him. Despite his tough circumstances, Goofy has a big heart and just needs someone to give him the chance to shine. He has some health challenges, including open wounds from scratching and trouble with his back legs. He’s currently covered in fleas and flies, but with proper care, his condition can improve. His new family will need to help him get up to date on checkups and treatments. Goofy isn’t very socialized and will need an adopter who understands large, independent breeds. He will thrive in a calm environment with someone who can offer patience, compassion, and time to adjust. If you have a big heart and a little extra room, Goofy could be the loyal, loving companion you’re looking for. Please consider giving him the second chance he so desperately needs.

Story
Meet Mr. Big- the bark of the Upper East Side. He is a head-turner for sure! Mr. Big is a dashing, charismatic Anatolian mix looking for an adoring owner. While he comes from an unfortunate situation after being rescued from Luling, he deserves the finer things in life. You know… regular walks down the avenue, plush dog beds, and fine dining. This four-legged Casanova keeps his crate clean and does well on the leash with encouragement. Not to mention, Mr. Big is a b-i-g lug with a soft heart, always ready for cuddles. This guy is shy at first but he just needs someone to show him patience and peace. He is indeed a dog with style, swagger, and soul. Don’t miss out on this catch of the city. Story
More info on the sisters ! Stella and Miss Fluff are beautiful and smart Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mixes, born Nov 23, 2022 . Both girls are spayed and UTD on vaccinations and preventative care . These girls came from a place where they didn't have much human contact and were semi-feral a few months ago. They have both come a LONG way but there are still things that they've never experienced, so we're working on socializing them on as many things as we can and whoever adopts them will need to as well. They're doing well overcoming their fears and with continued socialization and positive training, they'll be great companions for the right families. Right now, they’re like big puppies experiencing new things. The girls have been together their whole lives, but they can be adopted to separate families Stella is a friendly, open and smart girl who is learning all about life in a short period of time. She's come from a shut down, almost feral dog to liking people and trusting them more and more in a short time. She's doing great at obedience and will sit, down, wait and touch on cue and she pays nice attention to you when she's with you. She wants to please and works for both treats and praise. Stella is great on leash and loves long walks. She loves water and is learning how to play with toys. Once she trusts you, she loves getting hugs and kisses! While she does still get scared about new things, she's working her way through those things quickly now. Stella would do great in a home where she can be part of the family, preferably an active one. She'd do great as a running companion. She likes children but a home with kids over 10 is probably best. Stella has never lived in a house, so she would need to be contained for times when you can't be with her as she will chew. She is not a dog that you can just leave out in a yard. She will dig or jump her way out. Stella likes male dogs more than female, but has always lived with her sister, so a female friend isn't out of the question. She has seen cats, but never been with them but has never shown any aggression towards one. Stella has never been tested on livestock, so while she is an LGD, she would need to be trained to do the job and we don't know if she has the natural instinct needed for the job. If Stella is adopted within the Canyon Lake area, she will come with free training to help her adjust to her new life. Miss Fluff is a very smart and independent girl who is learning to trust people and has come a long way in a few short months. She is learning obedience but she isn't at the level her sister is as she isn't as food/praise motivated. Miss Fluff isn't a fearful dog. She meets new challenges easily but she needs someone who will take the lead and show her the best way to handle things instead of her choosing how to react. Miss Fluff is friendly but will always be a bit more more aloof and protective than her sister Stella and is more like an Anatolian in temperament. Miss Fluff loves water and is learning how to play with toys. She is learning obedience and she's excellent on leashed walks. She wants to be a partner to someone more than a baby, if that makes sense. Miss Fluff has never been tested on livestock, but she has more natural ability. A working home would be considered if you are committed to training her to do the job, preferably with another trained LGD to help her. Miss Fluff is good with most dogs with the proper introduction but she has not been tested on cats yet. She would do best in a calm home with adults that will reward positive behavior. She would need to be contained when you're not able to watch her until you can trust her not to chew things. Like Stella, she is not a dog you can just leave in a yard. She's good at finding weaknesses in fencing and might try to escape. She comes back, but she enjoys the challenge! If Miss Fluff is adopted within the Canyon Lake area, she will come with free training to help her adjust to her new life. Miss Fluff is a dog that if you spend the time for her to trust you, train her positively and push her slow but steady, she will end up being an amazing partner for the right person. They are located in Canyon Lake Texas. There is a Rehome fee. Send me your email address for an adoption application text or call. Sunni Patrice Stalbird 830 237 8588

Story
Athena is a lovely house dog. She loves affection and to cuddle on the couch. She is kennel trained and easy going. Unfortunately we live on a farm and she has recently decided that piglets are food and she just can't be trusted around the livestock which are our livelihood. She would make a great family companion and is great with kids other dogs (in her house) and cats. TBH she will need more work with leash manners and public exposure as she's spent most of her life on the farm. He love her so much and while she can't stay on the farm we will wait till we find her the perfect fit.

Story
Meet Daisy!Daisy is a 1-year-old, 65-pound Mastiff mix with a heart as big as her paws! Rescued as a stray in poor condition, Daisy has been thriving in her foster home and steadily gaining weight. She’s blossomed into a sweet, loving girl who adores bedtime cuddles and following her humans everywhere—they’ll never be alone with her around!Still a playful pup, Daisy has plenty of energy and is house trained and still learning the ropes of training like not jumping on you in excitement. She’s a smart cookie and eager to please, so with patience and consistency, she’ll become an amazing companion. Daisy loves playing with bigger, higher-energy dogs, like her foster family’s huskies, and has shown promise around cats. While she’s still learning to respect feline boundaries, she’s making great progress.Watching Daisy discover toys and grow into her happy, playful self is nothing short of heartwarming. She’s ready to bring her big heart and loyal spirit into a forever home that will love her unconditionally. Could Daisy be your perfect match?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Hello all you fantastic people out there, let me introduce myself. My name is Apollo and I'm here hoping to adopt me a family...one that I can say will be all mine! I am about 2 years old and come in at around 130lbs. Yes, that's a big fella but I'm sweet, loving and well...that's just a little bit more of me to love you!! I am an extremely very sweet and affectionate boy that does great with people but I'm kinda like a bull in a china shop so it would be best if I had a home with older kids. I do great with the other pups here but again sometimes I just don't realize my size and would do best with bigger pups. I would hate to accidently hurt them!! I am house and crate trained making it easy for us to get right to the fun stuff...right away. I'd love to share all your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting. I love getting pets, going for strolls, hiking nature trails, and my nice big soft squishy bed!! If you're ready for lots of love and affection, I is that big boy for you! All you need to do is fill out my adoption application and I will do the rest!! You can find it at haydudeequine.org
