Meet the beautiful Lupita! This sweet girl was found running loose on the Austin Animal Center campus with two other dogs at the beginning of January 2025.Lupita was in foster for almost a month, and her foster gave us a little more insight into her personality: she`s smart, a cuddle bug, and very fun to play with! She loves to play fetch with tennis balls but wasn’t really interested in stuffed toys. She walks well on a leash, doesn’t pull unless she sees a squirrel, and mostly ignored other dogs while on walks.She was reportedly gentle around a neighbor’s cat and seemed to enjoy its company. Her foster also said she was perfectly housetrained with no accidents inside. She knows how to use a doggy door and loves sunbathing in the yard. She’s been working on crate training and acclimating well, though she’d love to have a human who is around more than gone. Come down and meet this lovely lady today!

Clyde is a purebred Great Dane. He is three years old and a big lover. He is a big sweet energetic dog. He loves other dogs, gets along well with them well. He gets along with kids. I’m not sure about cats. We are looking for him to find a sweet loving family that will give him all the love and attention he needs. We are moving out of state and are not able to take him. we are very sad about this but hoping he can find a family to love on. He is neutered and up-to-date on shots. He is house trained. He is also kennel trained. He loves the water, if it’s a pool or even water coming out of the hose. He doesn’t mind baths. He loves to play with toys. Big ones of course! But also a big lazy nap in the sun is one of his favorite things to do. He rarely barks.
