Story
Carter is the most energetic and goofy guy. He loves playing in puddles and running around at the park. He also loves squirrels and pigeons. He is the most intelligent dog and will remember which shops have treats for him on daily walks. He also loves saying hi to new people and pets.  Carter would thrive in a home where either he is the only dog or he has an older dog to help show him the ropes. With German Shepherd/ Pitbull in his mix, among other breeds like Chow Chow, Carter is highly energetic and would thrive in a place with a yard where he can run around and explore. He also needs a lot of mental stimulation and loves playing with his Kongs and treat dispensers.  Personality & Characteristics:My foster dog is good with: Dogs, Older Kids My foster dog is: Crate Trained & House Trained3 Keywords for your pup: Goofy, Energetic, PlayfulEnergy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 10Barker? Story
Winston and Phoebe are beautiful Anatolian shepherd mixes that have pretty good size paws. These puppies were dumped in somebody’s driveway in the country, where they sat all night, waiting for someone to find them. Winston and Phoebe currently weigh 25 lbs as of 8/2/24 – We estimate they will be around 55-70 lbs once full grown. These 2 are just as friendly as sweet as can be. When the owner of the home they were dumped at walked outside, they ran up to the owners, tails wagging and tongues out. They LOVE to kiss you and be right next to you. Winston and Phoebe are gentle giants. They are not crazy puppies, but they do love their playtime. Give them toys and they put them in their mouths and run all over the house and yard with them. They LOVE their toys. They can entertain themselves, but they prefer a play buddy (whether it’s an adult, child or other doggy) These gorgeous pups have been introduced to small and big dogs and get along great with both! They look up to other dogs for more confidence but would be great in a home with or without other dogs. Winston and Phoebe adore kitties. They love to cuddle with them in the beds and hang out with them. Inside or outside cats, no issues at all. They may even prefer a cat sibling! They LOVE kids! They would prefer children over boring adults any day. They have the goofiest and friendliest of personalities. Winston and Phoebe also love water – they would make great adventure buddies. They love to explore and are very curious pups. They catch on quickly to everything you’re doing and will follow you around to watch you. These 2 pups will bring joy, love and laughter into your and your family’s life. Please consider adopting today. _______________________________________________________________________________ If you would like to adopt this doggy/puppy, please complete an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, current on preventions, dewormed and microchipped. Story
This is Ege, he is named after the Aegean Sea in Turkey. Ege is an 18-month-old pure breed Anatolian Shepherd and he comes from a bad situation. You see, Ege, spent his entire life in a converted chicken coop and was physically abused. Despite his hardships Ege is an energetic bundle of love that happens to have his quirks. He is a gentle soul that loves car rides and cuddles. He has never had the opportunity to be with his peers other than recently so he doesn't truly know how to play with them. He doesn’t like males that are intact and has recently developed resource guarding but only towards other animals. He has never shown aggression towards humans. Ege has not ever interacted with children so I do not know how he would be. He is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines and has had basic training. He does need more training because he has not perfected the ability to control his excitement considering the world is a brand new place for him to explore. Ege has been socialized wit

Story
Hi, my name is Sadie, I am a 7 month old 15 pound, MINI Aussie and I am a friendly and affectionate young pup who is in search of a loving home. I am an intelligent dog who is always eager to please and I love to show my human friends just how smart I am. I enjoy spending my days playing, exploring, and snuggling up with my human friends when it is time to rest. While I have been told I am good with other dogs, I have not had the chance to interact with many other pups. If you are looking for a furry friend who will be your loyal companion, I am the perfect dog for you! Please consider adopting me and making me a part of your family. I am extremely friendly and outgoing. Kids must be 8 or older to focus on training puppy. Local adopters only in NY, NJ and CT within 30 miles of NYC. Please note we will only adopt where we have trainers as this is required. We do not have a trainer in Suffolk County (if you are very far out), Bronx or Staten Island. Loki would be great with someone with a flexible schedule to give him time to decompress and continue crate training him. Step 1, Email us suekmwdadoptions@gmail.com and tell us your experience with dogs and where u live. 2) If we need more info, we will send u an application 3) DO NOT CALL US 4) DO NOT EMAIL US at our website. We get hundreds of people interested in adopting our dogs and can not possibly get back to everyone. Please be patient. Thank you for your cooperation. Please note we are volunteers and work with patients and can not take calls.
