Story
Will make an excellent companion! Not a good livestock guardian. Rhino has been raised outdoors on our farm with his mom and dad. Rhino’s breed is meant to do so and to guard livestock. He’s struggled with this. We had a trainer come in to help. The result is that he’s great at walking on a leash and with a little refresher he’ll be great off leash. (I can go over commands) However, he still goes after goats and sheep by thinking that they are to play with but to the point where he almost kills them. He’s not a vicious dog by any means but rather a smart one that needs a job to do was what our trainer explained. We can’t have him hurting our animals since his job is to keep them safe nor can we have eyes on him all the time for this reason. He’s beautiful and loves being cuddled would make an excellent pet. Good with kids and dogs. Lives outside. Needs proper fencing as he’s big and agile.

Story
Here is a sweet boy who is doing well in a foster home. He is house trained with a doggy door but will need to be taught a different routine if there is no door. He does well with cats and other dogs. He does like to jump so small kids will need to be careful. He must be kept busy as he does like to chew and have things to do. He does appreciate sleeping on a human bed but is fine on a dog bed also. He does well on a leash and on car rides. He is just a big sweet boy who is needing a family who can keep him occupied (farm, walks, outdoor activities, etc....) He just wants his forever family and we know there's one out there.

Story
He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
The dog's name is Diamond. She has been at my mother's home for a couple of years. She is pregnant. My mother has dementia and a bad back and she just can't adaquately care for the dogs anymore. I worry because my mother forgets to feed the dog and sometimes leave them outside too long in cold weather. I would hope that someone would take these animals.
