Story
Jasper is a 5 year-old australian shepherd/ bloodhound/ border collie mutt. He is incredibly energetic (he needs off leash time most days) and loving (after a good run in the woods, he would love to sit on your lap). However, he does not like children, and we have a 2 year old kiddo. He would do best with a family that has children no younger than ~ 8 or 10 years old and has a way to get him out to run every day - by taking him on hikes, or letting him out the backdoor into the woods. He is very food motivated; his recall is decent, and we've taught him other tricks like "go to your place" and "come around". He does not have experience with cats (I suspect he would chase them!) and he would likely bark at other dogs but not bite them. I would happily talk to you about him more!

Story
Meet Giselle: The Ultimate Supermom and Adventure Buddy!Giselle’s story is one of bravery and unconditional love. Rescued during a snowstorm with her nine puppies, this devoted mama proved her incredible spirit by carefully carrying each puppy to safety. All her pups have found their forever homes, and now it’s Giselle’s turn to find hers.Giselle is a happy, energetic girl who would thrive with an active family. A large, secure yard where she can run and play would be her dream come true. She gets along well with other dogs, including smaller ones, and would love to have a canine sibling to romp around with. While she’s great with kids, her size and energy make her a better fit for families with older children. This smart girl is housetrained and loves car rides, making her the perfect travel companion. She walks nicely on a leash and absolutely adores spending time with her people, soaking up all the attention she can get. While she’s not a fan of crates, Giselle does well when left at home after a good amount of exercise. Like many energetic dogs, she may chew if bored, but with consistent training, she’s sure to shine even brighter. If you’re ready for a loving, loyal, and active companion, Giselle is ready to meet you! Give this amazing mama the forever home she deserves.Check out this girl having a blast in the snow and with her foster siblings:https://www.youtube.com/shorts/wRy71wQ_k4ohttps://youtu.be/QU6oC4Zw_nQ?si=FtuxT-oTWfGUQkTzName: GiselleBreed: Anatolian Shepherd/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 1 year  (estimated)Weight: 66.0 as of 1/16/2025Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Tennessee  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Rumble, an Anatolian Shepherd pup whose heart is as big as his size! Rumble has been pretty nervous with new people and situations while at the shelter, so he would love to go home with adopters that are willing to take things slow and go at his own pace. He has only ever lived outdoors, so he`ll need plenty of time and patience while he adjusts to indoor living! He has lived around cats before, and could go home with a dog-savvy cat with a slow introduction. If you`re patient, loving, and ready to give this sweet boy the time and care he needs to settle in, he`d love to be a part of your home!If you think this dog could be a good match for you and would like to learn more, stop by our Cape Cod Adoption Center to speak with our staff about him. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 1pm-4pm – no appointment or application needed. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
