Story
Meet Cash! This handsome, sensitive boy takes a while to warm up, but once he does you`ll be in his circle forever. He is looking for a quiet home with people who will be patient wtih his needs. He LOVED his cat friends in his previous home so we think he would do well living with feline friends but would probably otherwise prefer to keep his world small. If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm – no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog that’s a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they’re interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.

Story
Noel is ready for her forever family! Her brother, Nicholas, is in his forever home and now it’s her turn 💜 This cutie is a 7 month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is a little shy when she first meets new people but warms up quickly with the promise of treats! Either a few treats, Noel will do just about anything 😝 Noel is good on leash and in her crate! She is fostered by a working family, so she is used to being kenneled while her family is gone. She is great with other pups but does best in a small group play setting, she thinks dog parks are overwhelming! She loves to play, but also loves to snuggle up on the couch 🥰 With a love for cuddling and a playful spirit, she'd thrive in a family that enjoys both. She is potty & crate trained and sits on cue! She is very treat-driven which makes her so much fun to train. Whether as a single dog receiving lots of love or part of a furry friend group, Noel is ready to bring joy to her forever home. 🐾🩷 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/forms PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
Meet Baxter, the ultimate adventure buddy and certified goofball!** At just around 1 year old, this Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix is ready to bring endless fun and loyalty to his forever family. Baxter is an affectionate giant who radiates happiness, making him the life of any room. He’s a big, firmly goofy boy who loves to have fun and be around people, always ready to make you smile. While he's still learning the ropes, Baxter thrives with someone who understands big dogs and enjoys outdoor activities. Whether it's hiking, running, or just hanging out in the yard, Baxter is all in. His social butterfly nature means he gets along famously with other dogs, but his heart truly belongs to his humans. He's a master snuggler and will happily cozy up beside you for some well-deserved relaxation. Though he’s comfortable being crated when his people are away, Baxter is happiest lounging around at home, keeping you company. With his playful spirit and unwavering loyalty, Baxter is sure to be an incredible companion for the right person or family If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/forms PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
We have not had Cowboy long (11 NOV) but it isn't hard to know how sweet he is. He seems to know some basic commands such as "shake". He is good with the other dogs but we haven't tested him with cats or other animals. He is good with all humans as he did not hesitate to greet the other pet owners at our Vet's Office. Please consider giving him the forever home he so desperately needs. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com
