Story
Athena is the biggest 130lb sweetheart who just loves to cuddle all the time. I got her when she was 13 weeks old from a breeder in Montana, where she lived with me for 4 years, we then traveled for my work until we ended up in Paso Robles. I’ve been struggling to find a place to rent, due to work related things, that will accept a big dog like her. I start a second job soon and am also a part time student and don’t think it’s fair to her that I cannot give her the attention she deserves. She’s lived in two homes with other dogs, (a German shepherd mix and also a Jack Russell Terrier) she is more of a people person and wants to lean on you as you pet her. She’ll gladly sit on someone’s lap as well. Loves car rides and sticking her face out of the window, but isn’t a huge fan of water or loud noises. Her birthday is June 6th, this past yesr she turned 7 and has no medical issues and is updated on her shots.

Story
Malinois, female, 8 monthsMeet Lyra, a beautiful juvenile (6-8mos), 45 pound Malinois.  A Good Samaritan emailed us begging for help for this sweet girl. When we asked for the backstory she said the following, “She was found in Riverside locked out of this crack house where she wasn’t being fed and treated horribly. The neighbors were feeding her. All she wants to do is play and be loved. She loves other dogs, cats, and humans.”  Lyra is a stellar and resilient dog. The type who has been through and seen it all, yet remains the sweetest of souls. Lyra is housebroken and working on crate training. If you are looking for a super smart, active, loyal companion, look no further. Mals are some of the smartest and most loyal breeds around. Once you have one, there’s no going back.  She is UTD on vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped in the coming days.
