MEET ARTHUR! This gorgeous boy was found by animal control, abandoned by his previous owners, on the side of the road. He was such a sweetheart with the staff that they contacted us and asked us to save him from euthanasia. He is a great protector and incredibly loyal, a perfect guard dog. However, he is a big love and adores cuddles, so he would be most suitable for a family willing to have him in the house. He comes with free training from a professional trainer upon adoption, along with multiple free lessons. He is a wonderful boy who will be the perfect addition to your family

Story
Rootbeer is the kind of pup who walks into a room and instantly lights it up. His happy-go-lucky personality is completely contagious, and he brings joy wherever he goes. At around 6 months old, Rootbeer is a mix of Anatolian Shepherd and Husky. He was originally found as a young puppy alongside his sibling and brought to the shelter. He was adopted at just 3 months old, but sadly returned a few months later through no fault of his own. Despite his start, Rootbeer is one of the most loving, trusting, and resilient puppies you’ll ever meet. He’s full of affection, always ready for snuggles, and just wants to feel safe and loved. He’s still learning his basic commands, but he’s eager to please and excited to learn—especially if it means extra praise (and cuddles after). Rootbeer would thrive in a home that can offer both mental stimulation and plenty of adventure. Whether it’s long walks, beach days, or simply being part of an active and present family, Rootbeer is ready to be your loyal companion. More than anything, he’s looking for a forever home where he can feel secure, loved, and included in everyday life.

Story
Meet Titus! A spirited almost two-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix currently in Santee, CA, whose essence is a beautiful blend of loyalty, playfulness, and gentle strength, wrapped in a beige and tan coat with striking black ears and a noble black muzzle. Titus is the kind of companion who brings warmth and comfort just by being near. Affectionate and deeply connected to those around him, he’s played an important role in helping a family member through tough times and now he’s ready to find a new loving home where he can thrive both physically and emotionally. At around 84 pounds, Titus is a large pup with an even bigger heart! He's playful, enjoys affection, and thrives on companionship, whether it’s human or canine. This outdoorsy guy is happiest when he’s out exploring. Whether it's a long hike, a walk through the neighborhood, or romping at the dog park, Titus embraces it all with enthusiasm! He’s a big fan of squeaky toys and balls, and he especially enjoys the social scene at doggie daycare. He’s shown no signs of guarding or food aggression and gets along well with other dogs, often delighting in the opportunity to play. Titus would not do well in a home with cats or other small animals, such as birds or chickens. Though he's not lived with children, he’s always friendly when meeting new people and loves gentle pets from curious little hands. Titus is leash trained, house-trained, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He knows basic commands like sit, down, stay, come, mine, and release. When left alone for short periods, he mostly snoozes peacefully. He’s sensitive to raised voices and the occasional scary animal on TV, so a calm, caring environment will help him feel secure. Titus would do best with guardians experienced with large breeds, especially those familiar with livestock guardian types. A fenced yard is a must for his zoomies and sunbathing sessions, and a canine playmate would be the cherry on top of his perfect day! Are you the kind-hearted, active family Titus needs to continue his journey of love, play, and adventure? If so, reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com to learn more about bringing this affectionate explorer into your life! Content Notice: This pet is represented by Joyful Pets. Story
Text or email only located in West Palmdale approved for same-day adoption only reach out if you are serious and ready for the commitment of adoption. Hello everyone, I am Florian. I was taken to a shelter in Shasta County and unfortunately, within a week I was placed on death row. My rescuer agreed to take a couple dogs from that shelter and I was one of the 15 that they dumped on her without her consent, but after looking into my eyes, she knew that I was destined for a better future and couldn’t bear the thought of Not taking me even though she had no space or resources for me. She decided to leave her home and rent a guest house for me and my siblings and friends from that shelter until she could find me a forever home. It has been one whole year since I’ve been in the rescue and everyone that I came with on that transport from that shelter has found their forever home except me I was rejected for the silliest reasons most recently someone didn’t like that my nose wasn’t completely black and that I had a white mark above my nose. I am a very loyal, sweet and dedicated dog and once I bond with you, I’m glued to your hip. I am a very active dog, but as long as you have a backyard or are willing to take me on at least two walks a day I’m perfectly fine. I am potty trained crate trained very well. Socialize with other dogs and children however, the rescue is on a ranch and I have developed a little bit of a prey drive with chickens and other small animals. If you have a wrap problem, I can correct it within a few days I understand commands in both English and Spanish and someone very kind decided to sponsor my adoption so my adoption is completely free to the family who decides to give me my final forever home. I’m a little on the smaller side and I am full grown and will not get any bigger 35 pounds is my peak weight but there’s so much loyalty and love wrapped up in the small package, so if you think I would make a great addition to your family, please contact my rescuer with the information directly above my story and schedule a day to come and meet me again. My adoption is sponsored so my adoption fee is waived and I am completely free, but you still have to sign an adoption contract before taking me home and taking the adoption picture to go on the adoption wall of fame. I really hope I find my forever home soon. Everyone I know has found loving homes and I’m just patiently waiting for my turn, but I look forward to finding you and showing you what unconditional love is really like!

With structure, patience, and plenty of exercise, he’s sure to grow into an amazing, loyal companion.
