Story
This pet is not in our shelter`s care, so anyone interested in adopting must contact the owner directly. Please reach out to learn more or to set up a meeting. This is Kenya, a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois/ Shepherd mix. We have fostered her for 12 months and it is time to find her forever home. Kenya came to us in the winter of 2023 and we believe she was dumped in our area. We fully vaccinated and chipped her, but she is not spayed, however, we will pay for it once adopted. she is in excellent health and has very clean teeth. She`s medium to small size 35 pounds.Kenya knows her basic commands such as sit, down, stay, and `go to your bed.` She is always ready to do what is asked of her, She is very playful and fetches her toys very good always bringing them back for more and do a short spurt of zoomies. She does very well on car rides and needs work on the lead. Kenya is affectionate and loyal. She is crate trained and is comfortable sleeping in her crate, or on the bed with us. She is a great sleeper (probably the best sleeper I`ve ever had) and sleeps through the night. She is house-broken and does very well on a schedule. Her favorite place is the kitchen, and she loves fruit and vegetables. Definitely a banana and cantaloupe lover and she loves green beans, peas, and broccoli. She takes a little bit to get attached to new people, but once that happens she is very loyal, that said, she would be best as an only-dog in the home. In our experience, she is not a barker. She only barks when she`s outside and someone is on the property (not much at all), but she warms up to people fairly quickly. She`s a great companion and so very good. We are not asking for any fees, we just ask that you provide a good and loving home for her.To meet Kenya, please email us with your interest. We would be happy to bring her to your home or to meet in a park.Contact informationPhone Number:(559) 230-9780Email:josephjangulo@gmail.comAdoption FeeAn adoption fee may apply, as determined by the owner.

Story
Inez is a funny loud character. She is very vocal about her wants and needs, is very energetic and super lively. My home has a medium yard that can`t sustain her anymore, we are often busy and don`t have time to help her exercise, the most we can do is play fetch or train for a bit because of how much we move around due to being busy. She loves gnawing on things, and has destroyed some bins but that`s just her being really energetic, she`s a character as I`ve said. She is not too social as she doesn`t get to go out often. We have been taking care of some family members chihuahuas and they get along with her fine but she gets so roudy that she can be a bother to them. She always wants to play, to move, to run. When people are over she is very timid very shy, so she`s pretty scared of new faces.I am looking to rehome as we just can`t keep up with her and I want her to have the best life she can get with people who can be there and love her all the time. I can`t give her the love she requires since I`m always busy, always away. She needs people who can train her, who can love her. People who have the time to be caring for her and giving her jobs and things to do.She`s never bitten anyone, she`s nibbled on my hand a few times because I had treats and is so food driven she can`t help but dig in on every one of her meals but never has she actually bitten anyone. She`s a malinois, she nibbles and chomps but never has she bitten directly. Please know she is not good with cats, I have a cat and she has grabbed him and layed on top of him so no cats around her. For now she doesn`t need to be around other dogs, she needs to be introduced slowly since I don`t know how she`ll react. She`s never been around many strangers and dogs. We took her on a walk once and she has barked or stared at people walking by, she stops walking and just stands there. She is very nervous. Ps: watch out because she jumps with her paws out. One time she got on her kennel and jumped on my back, knocking me over, she thinks she`s still a puppy. She is also allergic to Iams dog food, I have no clue what it is, possibly corn? It`s the only kibble that makes her scratch herself for a whole day.Contact Information:559-759-2484Email: timothycorneliusthesecond@gmail.com
