Story
Bruce is estimated to be about a year old. He was rescued as a stray and we adopted him shortly after. He is an incredibly affectionate cat. Loves to be on your lap or at the very least near you. He’s still got a bit of the playful kitten energy so he’s also super fun but honestly mostly chills/sleeps the whole day. He’s vocal in the fact that he “murmurs” which isn’t like a normal meow but much softer and quieter. He’s good about being picked up and getting his claws tripped. For claw trimming we like to burrito him though because he gets impatient and squirmy but still he’s fine. The only real issue with him is he does not tolerate our other cat. He stalks, chases and tries to fight him. We've tried slowly introducing over a month and a half and no matter what we’ve done he hasn’t improved but only gotten worse. So we’ve sadly decided he needs a home with no other cats. I don’t know how he is with dogs or children but would guess he’s good with children as he absolutely loves people.

These pups are in Pepper Pike, Ohio too!

Story
Mittens is being surrendered to our rescue due to too many animals in the home. She is utd on vaccinations & spayed. She is an independent cat, who will snuggle with you occasionally. She might need a little work with litter training, it is intermittent, but it is probably due to the number of cats in the home vs. the number of litter boxes. She is about 3 years old and weighs about 8lbs.

Story
Baby Freddie is looking for that special someoneTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html  Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Freddie and his brothers, Eddie and Randy, came from a neglected environment.  They were surrendered because their previous owner could not afford to feed them. When he first arrived in his foster home at three months old, the kittens were skin and bones, malnourished, drenched with fleas, and infested with intestinal parasites.  The boys are now healthy and happy, ready to journey to their forever home.  Due to the chaotic environment these boys withstand during the first three months of their lives, they are skittish in new environments and shy with strangers.  Once settled, they open up to be gentle, purring fur babies.  They need adopters who have experience with shy kittens and will be patient with them while adjusting to the new homes.  They are frightened by sudden movement and abrupt grabbling.  Freddie is very shy and slow to adjust to changes.  He will need a calm and quiet home and preferably have one of his brothers adopted together with him.  Once he feels safe, Freddie turns into a sweet, gentle little man who enjoys petting, having his silky medium hair brushed and gently chin scratching.  He loves to eat and play with his brothers.  He will hide from strangers but will hang out with his favorite humans.  Approx. birth date: 4/15/24 Foster:  CCLDecember 12, 2024, 4:36 pm

Elsa gave birth to a litter of 5 kittens in a PAWS foster home. She was a wonderful mom to her kittens and her kittens are now weaned. She is very sweet and will not eat the food until she gets attention and petted first. Now that she is done with being a mom she is now as playful as her kittens. She is litter trained and up-to-date with vaccinations. Approx. birth date: 10/2022 If interested, please complete an application at: https://www.pawsohio.org/adoptions **This pet is fostered by: Monica**
