Story
Lily is a very sweet but shy girl. Once she comes out of her shell she is very affectionate, and loves to spend time with her person. Lily's incredibly playful and she especially loves to play pounce with her favorite rope toy. She absolutely loves to pick a hiding spot in her tunnel or behind a box and literally hop onto her toy. Besides playing with her favorite rope toy or pouncing random objects through her tunnel, Lily also enjoys watching the squirrels out of the window and cuddling with her person. Lily is very timid around other animals. While she's shy with new people, she's pretty skittish with other cats. She would thrive as an only cat and would most likely do fine with a calm older cat sibling and a slow introduction. Unfortunately, while she's very playful with people, she has not warmed up to my young and very exuberant resident cat. Lily is up to date with all her vaccines and does not have any chronic health issues. Lily is currently not spayed or microchipped.

Story
Boots is 5 years old. He is easily startled and skittish, but once he feels comfortable, he’s all about cuddles and affection. He shows his love by giving gentle love nibbles, as he sometimes struggles to control his excitement. He gets along great with my other cat and enjoys napping and hiding in dark spaces. He’s never bitten or scratched us. Boots loves playing fetch and eating. He’s a fan of belly rubs and being cradled like a baby. However, he’s a bit possessive and doesn’t like sharing his owner as he wants you all to himself. Looking for an experienced cat owner with a home that is a quiet, calm environment where Boots can feel safe and secure. It should have plenty of cozy hiding spots, like soft beds, boxes, or hidden nooks, where Boots can retreat to when he needs to feel protected. The space should be free from loud noises or sudden movements that might startle him. Having a slow, patient atmosphere with minimal foot traffic will help him gradually feel comfortable.

Story
Serenity is a 1 1/2-year old, playful, purring, chatty girl looking for her forever family. This pretty girl loves to play! She adores toys of all kinds—ball towers, catnip mice, anything that moves—but the toys that involve her humans are her absolute favorites. A cat dancer or wand toy under a rug will have her pouncing with joy, and she’ll happily engage in several active play sessions a day. A home that enjoys interactive playtime will be a perfect match for her.Serenity is at the top of the cute scale with her fluffy tail, fluffy ears, and fluffy paws. Her cheerful chirps brighten even the gloomiest day, and she’s a vocal kitty who will let you know when she’s ready for breakfast or when it’s time for more play.Serenity has been through some challenging experiences, and she needs time and patience to build trust with new humans and new environments. When the connection is made, the rewards are amazing; Serenity purrs about every activity-play, head butts, and pets down her back and tail. She is highly food-motivated, which makes bonding easier—treats are the way to her heart! Her forever family should be prepared to let her set the pace and celebrate each step forward. A person who is home often or can offer her multiple small meals and consistent positive interaction throughout the day would be ideal. This pretty lady previously lived in an outdoor colony and greets other cats with friendly meows. She would likely enjoy a feline companion after slow introductions.Once Serenity settles in, her affectionate side begins to peek through in subtle ways—relaxing nearby, accepting occasional chin scratches while resting, and showing trust through her presence. Serenity may always be cautious with strangers, so a calm, predictable home will help her thrive.Serenity is trained to go into a carrier for treats and has even learned a nose-boop trick for the reward of a crunchy snack. She’s ready to show off all of her unique, lovely qualities to the family who will appreciate her gentle, blossoming spirit. There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
