Story
I'm in Pittsburgh visiting my beloved mother who is in Hospice and has days to live. My mother's one wish was that her senior kitty Sassy is taken care of after she dies. I live in Florida and cannot take care of her Sassy and I'm hoping that someone from this website could help me. Please, if there's anyone that has love for senior kitties and can help ensure a comfortable life in her last years. Any help would be a blessing.

Story
I acquired Pixie from a friend who could not handle the responsibility, but I took her on expecting to foster her for a short time. I care deeply for Pixie and have held onto her hoping to find just the right fit. Pixie is 5 and a half. I'm looking for a holistic-minded person to care for and love Pixie. I personally think she'd be happiest in a home with 1-2 adults or older children vs. a situation where she may be overstimulated by a toddler or young child, for her own sense of peace. She loves and seeks affection and attention, and is not aggressive when overstimulated but rather, she retreats, so that would make her feel stressed in her own home if her boundaries are constantly being pushed, which would be unfair. Pixie likes to be able to look outside, so she'd appreciate a window where she could perch, or if she could go out in a safe, enclosed yard for short periods, she'd love that too! Pixie is sweet, calm, affectionate, loving, mature, respectful, loyal, and non-destructive.

Story
Dewey is about 2 years old, one of the most independent cats I've ever had. She likes to be cuddled and loved on but she isn't a lap cat. I will mention though that she was with other cats, ones that raised her (I found her as a 1 month old kitten at my job and took her home. So she probably would do better with another cat. I just want to mention that there is nothing wrong with her, no behavioral issues, always uses the litterbox. No health concerns. Up to date with all of her shots except possibly rabies. She got that last year , but she is an inside cat never goes outside so it shouldn't be a concern. I lost my job as a waitress at waterway cafe in palm beach gardens in August which really screwed me due to it being not in season. I finally have a job but I still am not making enough and I have to move back with my sister in Missouri. They live on a military base so I can only bring one cat with me . Thanks for reading my message and if you have any questions my number (xxx) xxx-xxxx
