Story
Dosido has been in the shelter for many years, he likes to be pet but on his terms. He will usually come to you and then turn around for you to pet his back. He is absolutely gorgeous and does such a great job grooming his long, shiny black coat. Dosido would require a slow introduction to his new home by starting him in a small room where you can bond with him and earn his trust. The shelter life is all he has ever known so it will take a lot of patience and love for him to trust fully. He would be a great cat for someone who has the patience, time and love for a cat who wants it so much. He will do best in a home that is quieter with not a lot of activity. Please call 623-773-2246 or email information@4pawsrescue.orgFebruary 26, 2025, 7:40 pm

Story
Pinkie was surrendered by a good Samaritan whose neighbor threatened to throw her outside. We think she may have some trauma from her previous life as she wants attention, but can quickly get overstimulated and upset by too much petting. She doesn't like to be pet too much in any one spot or she will try to swipe her paw at you. She loves to play and is very food motivated. She loves her canned wet food, so her adopter kindly needs to provide that for her. Her adopter needs to give her patience and time and accept that she can be temperamental. We do NOT recommend her for kids or elderly. Please call 623-773-2246 or email information@4pawsrescue.orgFebruary 26, 2025, 7:40 pm

Story
Jaxine came to 4 Paws as a kitten and has been with us her entire life. She was not socialized well as a kitten and has a fear of people. She is adoptable to the right home. Jaxine has recently decided that she enjoys petting! She has made great strides with trusting our staff and volunteers. With time and patience, Jaxine could make a great companion cat. Please call 623-773-2246 or email information@4pawsrescue.orgFebruary 26, 2025, 7:40 pm
