Story
Kylo is very full of energy and love he definitely needs a yard to run in and a home with space that unfortunately I just can’t accommodate. His zoomies are A LOT LOL! He’s a big time chewer so tough toys are a must. Kylo is very treat and food possessive so best to separate feed and do not take his treats/food away by hand. He’s a good boy just needs someone with patience and the time to work with him after all he’s just a puppy 8 1/2 months old

Story
Pinky is currently in foster and doing great! Her foster`s report she is house trained, crate trained, does well with the cat in the home and loves belly rubs. Here`s what else they have to say`I think one of my favorite things that Pinky does is smile when I get home from work, afterI`ve been gone all day (my boyfriend was home, or got home much earlier then I) and shegets super excited and starts smiling at me. I also love how I am never lonely at home. Shelikes to follow me literally everywhere, whether that`s cleaning, watching tv, or studying, sheis very curious with everything. Also if you stop giving her bellyrubs she will lay on her backand wiggle side to side until she gets more. She loves showing off her toys as well.`

Story
Meet Zero!! I don’t know what it is about this guy but he’s very special. Everyone that meets him just falls in love with him. He’s a big baby with a crappy past and all he wants is to be loved on. Zero was initially seized by animal control. He lived outside and when they found him he was starved, chained outside and had infected cuts on his legs. Thankfully he was saved in time. He healed up nicely and gained his weight back. He quickly went to a great home but sadly has been returned to us. This guy is really a big loving scaredy cat of a dog. He is super outgoing with other dogs and people but also gets afraid of walking through doors at the pet store. He also doesn’t like to be alone. Really just an oversized sweet baby. He is an approx 3 year old, male Pitbull/ Staffy type mix. He weighs 66 pounds and is full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He is thankfully heartworm negative. Zero was very loved by his adoptive family. He was only returned due to accidentally hurting their cats. We want to be clear that he is not at all aggressive to cats or other animals. The cats got hurt on three separate occasions just due to his size and weight. Due to this we want him to go to a home with out cats or tiny dogs just so he does not accidentally hurt a smaller animal. He loves all people and does great meeting everyone. He’s very much an overgrown puppy. Super sweet, goofy and loving. He’s done well with all the dogs he’s met so far. Other dogs sometimes get annoyed with his hyper play so a tolerant playmate would be best. He loves everyone including kids however he is big strong and playful. He may accidentally knock over small kids but he does not have any aggressions towards them. Zero is partially crate trained. He will stay in but can be vocal in protest. He doesn’t have to be crated as he’s not been destructive but he has been crated during the work day in hopes to get him more comfortable with it. He will willingly go in the crate when asked he just gets loud once he realizes he will be staying in it. He pulls a lot still when walked on the leash. He doesn’t get sick on car rides but can be very anxious about them. He is always happy to get where he is going but not sure about the trip lol. He is potty trained with a doggie door. He does get very anxious when moved to a new place and did have several potty accidents while adjusting to his foster home. It seems to be anxiety related and once settled he does very well. Zero LOVES to play fetch. He is obsessed with his ball. He will do it for hours. He will bring it right to you and drop it in your lap or at your feet. He would be so happy to have someone wanting a dog to play endless games of fetch with them. He has a moderate energy level. He loves to go outside with you, play with other dogs but mostly wants to lay around with you and be loved on. He’s such a sweet soul. He soaks up any affection he can get from people. He does get very hyper when you first get home or let him out of the crate. Once he gets some of that excited energy out he is much calmer and laid back. Zero has shown no food aggression with people but needs to eat separate from other dogs. He came to us starved and sometimes that leads to being protective over food. He does not do it with people at all. He is happy to eat in his crate or in another room if you have other pets. There are thousands of blue pitbull types out there looking for homes but this guy has something special. Its hard to explain but when you meet him you’ll feel it to. He is still a little rough around the edges with training but the person willing to put in the work with him is going to end up with the most loyal and steadfast companion you could ever ask for. Vet and home checks required. ⛔️DO NOT APPLY IF YOURE RENTING AND HAVEN'T SPOKEN TO YOUR LANDLORD FOR PERMISSION TO ADOPT THIS BREED.⛔️ Located in Hampton VA. Story
Meet Niko !! This guy is absolutely gorgeous. He’s a big boy and gives the best snuggles. We’ve been working on his trainings and manners. He’s been doing so good. He’s very smart and treat motivated. He picks up training extremely quickly. Niko is a 5 year old, male American bully. He weighs 69 pounds. He will be neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped as part of his adoption. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives. He loves everyone he meets and seems like he has no idea what a stranger is. He is big and very strong but is also a huge softie with so much love to give. He thinks he’s a lap dog and loves to cuddle. He has no concept of not fitting on the couch with you. He will crawl up and find a spot lol. Niko has been perfect with his potty training. He rides great in the car and is eager to jump in and go for a ride. Sometimes he needs a little help with his hind end to get into taller vehicles due to his shorter body build. He is very strong on the leash and needs continued training on that but is already getting better. He’s excellent with crate training and can stay crated during a normal work day. He will whine or bark a bit at times but it’s not excessive and usually when he hears you moving around the house and wants to join you. When Niko arrived he had almost no manners. In only two weeks hes learned so quickly. He is doing so much better about jumping on people or pushing through doorways etc. It seems like he was just never taught. Once he learns the rules and expectations he tries very hard to do what you want him to. Niko is a bit clingy. He wants to be around you as much as he can. He really loves his people. He loves to curl up on you for a nap on the couch even if he doesn’t fit lol. He will follow you all around the yard and “help” with whatever task you’re doing. He had no issues with the holiday fireworks and overall is a pretty confident boy. He needs the right owner for sure. He’s excellent when he’s calm. If he’s hyped up he forgets his training and can be harder to manage. He can be easily excited but has thrived in a foster home that’s focused on keeping him calmer and using firm consistent training. He wants so badly to make you happy and when he’s in the right environment he’s easily able to accomplish this. He’s not one you want to play wrestle with or hype up. Hes so good when he’s just hanging out with you in a normal relaxed way. Niko does have a few training quirks that will require the right home. He is hyper focused on plush toys. He will not share them with you. You can not take his toy or he will growl and if you push it he will eventually snap at you. He doesn’t want to bite you, he gives warnings and tries to get you to leave him alone first. He’s never bitten anyone but needs a home willing to not give him plush toys or leave him alone when he has them. He isn’t concerned with you near him when he has them. You can walk by, pet his butt etc but when you reach down to actually take the toy he says no. With training this may change but it also may just be the way he is. Pushing this issue with him could force a bite and get him euthanized so please be sure you take it seriously if you choose to adopt him. He however doesn’t care about his regular food and doesn’t care to much about bones either, a few here and there he doesn’t want to share but it’s mostly toys. He’s just really obsessed with plush toys. He rips them apart immediately but doesn’t ingest them. We are working on teaching him a drop it or leave it command but it’s a work in progress and far from a learned skill. He also doesn’t destroy his plushy bed in his kennel and hasn’t picked up or tried to chew anything in the house that wasn’t a dog toy. As far as other dogs Niko seems to do really well. He’s pushy at first meeting but seems to get along with various types and sizes of dogs. He however doesn’t share toys with them either. He also got possessive over the water hose when he was playing with it. Again, he didn’t bite them he just got growly and snappy. We would suggest he either be an only dog to make things easier or be paired with a calm energy dog that isn’t interested in toys and will back off if Niko gets possessive. We have no idea how he would do with cats. Niko loves kids and previous lives with an infant but he’s so big and strong he is just too much for young kids. That mixed with the toy issues and it’s just not a good idea to risk a kid trying to take his toy. Older kids that are calm and relaxed would be a better fit. If they run around acting wild he’s going to join in and forget not to pounce on people etc. His energy level is mixed. If you hype him up he’s ready to get rowdy at any second. However if you provide him a calm laid back atmosphere he’s good with relaxing all day. He goes out to potty and comes in when called and lays out on the couch. He’s fine kenneled through the workday as well. We know he has a few issues but he’s got so much potential in the right home. Someone with big dog experience and willing to continue his training would be best. He really is become a wonderful dog. Vet and home checks required. No young kids Located in Hampton VA. Story
Meet Bready Freddy! Always ready to go and always ready for snuggles, Freddy would love a home to call his own. He is a great leash walker once he`s done with his bathroom business. If he does tug, he is very easy to correct. Freddy will `sit` politely for treats and take them gently when offered. He is not picky about which treats he likes and will preemptively give you a `sit` to tell you he`s hungry. Freddy likes toys but prefers getting back scratches and pets. He shows appropriate behavior toward other dogs. Freddy also shows strong signs of being house-trained. He is a communicative and snuggly pup who would be great in any family. Come in and meet him today!

Story
Hi, I`m Shenzi! I`m just a puppy, but boy, do I love to play! My days are filled with boundless energy, chasing my tail, and tripping over my own paws. I`m goofy like that, but it always makes the humans laugh. I wasn`t always this happy, though. My start in life wasn`t the best, but I don`t let that get me down. I`m friendly and sweet, always ready to give kisses and cuddles. I`m not just a funny face, though. I`m smart, too! I`m learning new tricks every day. So, why should you adopt me? Because life is always better with a friend who can make you laugh!
