Story
Looking to adopt a new fur-baby? Look no further than Spot - affectionately called Dairy by his current foster family! This hilarious boy is has been nick-named as such because his foster mom says he looks like a little cow, and he certainly acts the part with his friendly, affectionate, and curious demeanor. If you're looking for a smart pup who can jump like an athlete when he's feeling playful, but can also be a total couch potato and give you all the kisses, Dairy is your guy. Keep in mind this jumpy boy needs a 6 foot fence because he can get a lot of air! Just be warned that he's not a huge fan of cats or other small animals, so it might be best if they stay away. This boy is a true sweetie who loves both dogs and humans, and he's sure to be the perfect addition to your family. Best of all, he's an adult so you won't have to deal with any puppy shenanigans or pee-pee pads! Approx a year old, 60lbs, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped—-he’s ready to go! Even better, our little Dairy cow has been learning so many good manners with his foster mom and foster dog brother, so he'll be coming in to his forever home with a lot of good manners, and very treat-motivated to learn more. If you're interested in adopting Spot/Dairy, please come and meet him today! Send an email to adoptpetersburg@gmail.com and include "Spot/Dairy" in the subject line to find out more about Spot or to schedule a meeting with his current foster family. Spot can't wait to find his forever family, and we all hope that it's you!

Meet Daisy This beautiful brindle itty bitty pittie is just the lovingness thing. She was found as a stray, and no one ever claimed her. We guess her to be around 2 years old. She was living on her own for a few days, we do not know how she got where she was, but she sure seems happy we picked her up and showed her what love was all about. She was super nervous when she was first caught, but boy sure has blossomed since then. She loves to be with people. She is goofy girl who likes to play. She is good with other dogs but a meet and greet is required. We have not cat tested her yet, but we can. She has the most beautiful brindle coat. Come to the shelter and give this girl some loving and then adopt her lol ❤ If you have any questions or are interested in meeting this sweet girl, give us a call at 804-520-9397 extension 5
