Meet Circe, a sweet and loving 6-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with a heart full of affection. Circe came to us from a difficult hoarding situation, where she lived with seven other dogs of all sizes. While she has made incredible strides in her recovery, Circe is a bit picky when it comes to her dog friends. She prefers a calm environment and would likely thrive as a only dog or with a well-matched canine companion. Despite her tough past, Circe absolutely adores people. She’s the kind of dog who will greet you with tail wags and warm kisses. In fact, she was recently spotted lying on the ground with a volunteer, showering him with face licks—just one example of her gentle and affectionate nature. Circe is also fully potty trained, making her a wonderful fit for a family looking for a loyal and loving companion.

Sequoia 801-940-4751Princess has been a very loyal loving companion since I’ve had her. She is very eager to please and loves every person she meets. She does great on the lazy days but also loves to walk and be active. She is a chewer so a surplus of chew toys is a must. I’ve taken her on multi day road trips and she does great as well as being stuck at home for days. She is the biggest cuddler and has become my shadow when we’re together. She will get the zoomies when she’s waited for you all day to get home. She has been very loved since and worked with me with my busy lifestyle. Through my time with her she had had a strong prey drive. We have lived with cats but have needed baby gates to keep them separated. After sometime she is respectful of those cats but still chases any others when she gets the chance. As well as a high prey drive she has aggression to other dogs. She has been able to make a few dog friends but will occasionally get in fights with them over things like toys. When it comes to stranger dogs she is very reactive. I’ve worked with her and she has made a lot of progress but with a change in my living situation I can’t keep her anymore. I believe she would thrive in a single pet home with people who are home bodies and want a cuddle bug. *Owner has reported damage to another animal from this pet*

Scooby has been here one and half years.He is so sweet and is pretty calm, but more than willing to play hard.I got him neutered and he is up to date on all his shots.He and Annie are best of friends.He came in the house when he first came here and did super great. While he was in the house, he showed me that he was house trained and well behaved. He is about 2 to 2 1/2 years old now.He was fine with my cat and other dogs, he is super with all the people and kids that have come to visit him.

Sawyer is a “Pocket Bully” born in September 2018 with a cleft lip, cleft palate, and spina bifida. He is currently eating and drinking safely on his own and we don’t believe his cleft lip/palate will require any surgical intervention. Sawyer will always need a little extra supervision to make sure he doesn’t eat anything dangerous for him, and will never be able to safely eat wet or goopy foods like canned food, peanut butter, yogurt, or any other liquids other than water. But otherwise he is expected to live a long, healthy life. The spina bifida causes Sawyer to be incontinent and to have some weakness in his back legs. He can walk and get around very well, but he will be in diapers for the rest of his life. He is a very happy, spunky pup and is friendly with humans and other dogs. He needs a committed home willing to give him the extra care he needs to thrive. Sawyer has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is also micro chipped. Meet Duke! He just turned 4 years old this September and has been a big part of our family since he was a puppy, we just haven’t had the time for walks and playtime like we used too do to increase of work. Duke is affectionate, loving, very mello, and he can be very stubborn lol so an experienced dog owner would be best for him since he is very stubborn and has all that bulldog attitude. We know he would thrive in a home that can provide him with the time and attention he deserves. He needs a calm environment—ideally with a single adult or couple, no children, and no other pets— he loves playing fetch, loves watching calming relaxation videos on you tube, snow sledding in the winter, he absolutely loves to play in the snow, music and treats. Duke has some allergies, which we manage with Apoquel and Royal Canin Bulldog food. He truly deserves a chance to thrive in a nurturing home. If you have the heart and time to help him, please consider giving Duke the loving home he needs.
