Story
At 7 years old, Giselle is ready for the final and best chapter of her life. Giselle was seized as part of a cruelty case in south Texas. Her previous owners severely abused and neglected her. We’ll never know what horrors she went through, but we promised to give her a life of love and happiness! Despite her tragic past, Giselle loves every single person she meets. She adores her foster mom and dad and gives the best kisses. She quickly adjusted to life in a real home. She is low maintenance and low energy. She is super dog friendly and loves playing with her three other dog foster siblings. We think she could live with a cat too! She is very trainable, fully house-trained and crate trained. She also knows fun tricks like sit, down, and crawl! She has the most adorable ears and captivating smile. Giselle deserves a loving home to live out her golden years in cozy comfort!

She gives award winning kisses and snuggles to her foster mom. Baby gets along great with dogs of all sizes and ages when properly introduced. Baby is house-trained and crate-trained. Story
Brisket is an approximately 9 week old baby shark. He is the cutest and sweetest little guy you can imagine, and one day he will grow out of his shark-like ways and mature into a beautiful American Bully mix. Of course, his breed is just an educated guess by his vet because poor little Brisket was arrested by the animal control officer in a small Texas Panhandle town, so no one really knows who his Mommy and Daddy are, or what their breeds may be. All we know is that his beautiful eyes and his unique coloring combined with his giant paws and adorable ears are the perfect combination. Brisket has had two sets of vaccinations already, and is ready to start looking for his forever family. He wants a family who won’t mind if he chews a shoe or two before he is fully grown, and who will play with him endlessly until he is worn out and falls asleep. Brisket has been blessed with a LOT of energy, and his adult foster brothers and sisters don’t appreciate his enthusiasm. Brisket absolutely loves all other dogs and people. He especially likes kiddos, but keep in mind that he is in a biting stage right now and his little teeth are sharp! He hasn’t met any cats yet. I’m sure he would enjoy them, but I’m also sure the cats would object. Brisket is doing great with his crate training. He is beginning to get the hang of going potty outside, but will need ongoing training to perfect this skill. He is eager to learn about everything all at once, and he is a blank page that his family can write his future on. Some additional considerations about Brisket are that we will be very selective about his adopter because of his breed. All references will be checked, and a background check will be completed to ensure that Brisket’s future is a happy one. Additionally, it is expected that Brisket will be neutered when he is at the appropriate age. Once proof of his neuter is provided back to the rescue, a portion of his adoption donation will be refunded to help defray the cost. If you are interested in adopting Brisket (or fostering to adopt), please complete the application and one of his rescue friends will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Story
Nookie was rescued from Tucson, AZ and is estimated to be around 5 years old. He loves food, playing tug, being chased, sun bathing, and cuddling with pillows and blankets. He loves going to dog parks and going for walks. He is an average energy dog. Nookie is housebroken, kennel-trained, and knows many commands like: sit, lay down, backup, speak, "I love you," paw, wait, bed, excuse me, get out, up, off, etc. Nookie is a very independent dog and keeps to himself. He only likes to cuddle the people he knows. He has a hard time around kids, strangers on leash, groomers, and vets. Nookie would do best in an adult only home where he gets regular walks and would do well with another dog in the home.
