Story
Aster is a happy, outgoing AmStaff who simply loves every human she meets, especially the little ones. She gets along with other dogs unless someone growls or gets aggressive with her then she is ready to rumble; she would do well as an only dog or with other dogs that like a peaceful environment.Aster is house and crate trained, although as an only dog she would be fine not using a crate. She is crated for meals and when no one is home in her foster home, along with most everyone else simply because there are several other animals. She would love to have her family to totally devote herself to and take care of. She is totally engaged and observant; ready to do what is asked of her.Aster is fully vetted, current with vaccines, spayed; micro chipped; and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Meet beautiful Minnie Mouse! She's one of our Diamond Dogs with a reduced adoption fee of $125.  Minnie is such a laid back girl. She is so loving and will just lean in on you. She walks well on the leash. She is patiently waiting for her person. She is the belle of the ball but remains without a partner for long walks and someone’s eyes to stare into and love. She is an absolutely stunning girl that is easy to love. As you can see, she thinks she is a lapdog. Her tail goes a mile a minute when someone pays attention to her. Being surrendered to the shelter where she was a staff and volunteer favorite did not change her sweet disposition but she was so happy to be rescued and is now looking for her fairy tale ending in her foster home. They never asked to be in the situation humans put them in and they are just begging for a shred of comfort, that’s why we fight for every last one of them.  The only thing Minnie wants is a home - a forever home - where she'll be loved and truly considered part of the family. She's been unlucky in love in the past, but she doesn't let it stop her from excitedly greeting and loving every new person who comes her way. To Minnie, a stranger is just a friend she hasn't met yet - and friends provide attention and sometimes even yummy treats! Minnie adores getting attention, especially shoulder massages and gentle back scratches. She knows how to sit and waits very patiently for treats when you reward her and takes them very gently. She would love to join you on some weekend hikes no matter the weather - there are so many amazing things to see and sniff and explore with a friend!    Minnie is a spayed female Staffie/American Bulldog mix with the most beautiful white soft silky fur with adorable brown spots the colors of molasses and honey, soulful eyes and adorable tipped ears. She  weighs 74  pounds and is a two years old.   Minnie has a sweet personality, is lively and active and her tail wags constantly.   She is well mannered on a leash and loves to go on walks with her foster mom, she is house, and crate trained and goodwith other dogs and older respectful children. Minnie is a friendly girl and is happy for pets and snuggles. She makes her foster mom smile!   She is hoping to attract the attention of a family who will love her as a member of the family forever. She's deserving of finding a committed person or family who will give her love and attention. She likes to play with other dogs but would also be happy being the only dog with lots of toys... particularly stuffed toys. Minnie like's walks and snuggles, she is up for either. Please assist Minnie by networking for a wonderful, committed family.  She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, Heartworm Negative, and Microchipped and Heartworm Negative.. **She does need special food. If you think Minnie might be the family member you are missing, please complete an application on our website and her foster mom will be in touch. Apply for her today at:      https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/    We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Wanna play? If you throw a ball, I WILL go fetch. I’m an incredible athlete! I also love any and all attention! I’m great with all ages of children and other dogs (I currently live with kids ages 9 months, 3 years, and 4 years old), but haven’t spent much time with other animals – I’d probably be very curious! I am in tip-top health, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, but sometimes I forget my manners when I get excited. I can take a hint when it’s time to calm down though. I've learned not to eat your food off the counter so you don't have to worry about that! I’m looking for a new family to play with who will give me lots of love and rubbin’s! I’ll even bring my own crate, dog beds, toys, and flea/tick/heartworm medicine! I’m ALWAYS down for a meet and greet to show off my colorful personality! Unfortunately, my human sister is sick and can't be around my germs and dander. I would much rather be rehomed, rather than to an adoption agency. Thanks!!

Story
Ozark is a smart, loveable, snuggly, and curious dog who just wants to be your best friend. He is a 5 and a half year-old, 42-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is really cool looking with awesome coloring. Ozark has the most beautiful brindle coat and white belly. He just wants to snuggle and will sit on your lap all day if you let him. He has a huge heart, and will be the best companion for anyone. Ozark is up to date on his vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. I rescued Ozark from a shelter 4 and a half years ago. Now my wife and I got married and moved in together, and come to find out she has allergies to all dogs. It has become a burden on her and we have to find Ozark a good loving home. It breaks my heart, because he is such a wonderful dog. Ozark is playful, loving, and a loyal companion. He loves to chew on bones, play tug-o-war and go on walks. He loves treats and interacting with people. Ozark is an inside dog, and is housebroken.

Story
Maggie is still searching for her forever family! Here is what one of our volunteers has to say about her: “Maggie is a gem. She has the best temperament and is probably one of the sweetest dogs you’ll meet. She loves, loves, loves people. When she looks up at you with those eyes, you can’t tell her no! She loves belly rubs, being pet, and giving kisses. She would do really well with older kids, but she could go to a family without kids as well. Maggie loves to do all of the typical dog activities, such as walks and car rides. There’s no question she’d be your best friend and accompany you on all your adventures. She’s just so happy and loving. I’m surprised this precious girl hasn’t been scooped up yet!” Maggie is a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She is great with other dogs and loves to play. She is kennel trained and potty trained. If you are interested in adding Maggie to your family, please fill out an application at rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1482209##

Story
According to Wisdom Panel, Petunia's top breeds are American Staffordshire Terrier and Bulldog. She currently weighs 11 lbs, and her estimated adult weight is 33-55 lbs. She is short and solid muscle! Given her build and breed makeup, we scheduled her with Dr. Dean at Mustang Veterinary Surgical to rule out any health issues, particularly with her hips. Dr. Dean did not find anything abormal! Petunia is now available for adoption! We are now accepting applications. If you are interested in potentially giving her a forever home, please read the following in its entirety. Although this little girl is funny, snuggly, and adorable, she is not an easy puppy. Setting her up for future success involves adoption requirements that are different from a typical 5 month old puppy. Petunia must go to a home with an experienced dog owner, preferably someone who has experience with bully breeds and/or stubborn breeds. Even though there are tons of toys in her foster home, Petunia goes after anything she is not supposed to chew on….furniture, cords, clothes, the actual dryer - you name it, it is fair game! She is persistent and does not respond to redirection. Her foster mom has noticed that Petunia is getting better at responding to “no”. Her future adopter must be willing to invest in training, whether at home or professionally. She has her first training session tomorrow! We also will not place Petunia in a home with children under the age of 15. With her body structure (and the fact that she is squirmy), she can be hard to hold on to. One accidental drop could cause spinal issues or paralysis. Petunia would do well in a home with another dog, however, she may not be a good fit if you are looking for a playmate for your pup. We know that the above description is different from most puppies; however, we are always going to be honest with potential adopters and aim to place our dogs only in environments where they will thrive. Right now, her mischief may be “cute” since she’s a puppy, but it wouldn’t be so cute on a full grown dog. Petunia has the potential to be an amazing dog, but she is not the right fit for everyone. Petunia is kennel trained and sleeps through the night. She is working on potty training but still has a few accidents a day. If you are interested in adopting Petunia, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Wally is the sweetest boy with a friendly, playful temperament. He loves walks, car rides and going to the vet. He has zero aggression but can be a bit of a rough player with other dogs. He gets along great with our other dog. We are rehoming because we cannot give him the attention he needs. Needs a home with an active family or a large yard

Story
Tyler is a gentle soul; one of the emotionally softest dogs you will ever meet. He had a hard start somewhere, we think he was pushed around and probably had a hard-handed owner in his puppyhood. Finally he’s learned to expect good things from humans in his life, learning to love belly rubs and head scratches. He lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with or avoids them. He seems to think the dogs that want to rough house and play might hurt him so while he could live with other dogs he wouldn’t be a good playmate for another kiddo in his home.Initially Tyler was terribly afraid of a leash but will now leash walk with gentle coaching, he can not be pulled or forced which scares him still. He will now go through doorways and use a doggie door but will need time to adjust to both in a new environment. His foster mom usually just leaves a door wide open for him or takes him through with a leash. He’s come a long way but still has work to do in those areas. He doesn’t have much vision in his right eye which may be why he has trouble with steps/stairs and should be in a home where he doesn’t have to navigate those on a regular basis. He is also a bit hard of hearing so getting his attention through sight is imperative.Tyler has learned to come when his foster calls him and how to suck up when he wants her attention. He is a handsome, English Bulldog and is very typical of the breed other than learning his true worth.Tyler is fully vetted - current with his vaccines, neutered, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention; and he is microchipped.

She has great house manners and enjoys her walks, nap time, and being close to her people. Lulu is fully vetted - current with vaccines, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped and spayed.
