Story
Maggie is still searching for her forever family! Here is what one of our volunteers has to say about her: “Maggie is a gem. She has the best temperament and is probably one of the sweetest dogs you’ll meet. She loves, loves, loves people. When she looks up at you with those eyes, you can’t tell her no! She loves belly rubs, being pet, and giving kisses. She would do really well with older kids, but she could go to a family without kids as well. Maggie loves to do all of the typical dog activities, such as walks and car rides. There’s no question she’d be your best friend and accompany you on all your adventures. She’s just so happy and loving. I’m surprised this precious girl hasn’t been scooped up yet!” Maggie is a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She is great with other dogs and loves to play. She is kennel trained and potty trained. If you are interested in adding Maggie to your family, please fill out an application at rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1482209##

Story
Gwen, previously known as Natasha from the Marvel Litter, was adopted from us as a puppy in 2021. Now, this sweet girl has unfortunatey come back to Rescue Row and looking to start her next chapter. Gwen is a 3 1/2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier/Dalmatian/Rottweiler/Lab mix weighing 53lbs. Her former owners sent her to two board-and-train programs, so she comes with an impressive set of skills! She knows commands like “place”, “sit”, “down”, “wait”, and “free”. Gwen is an anxious pup, so she is looking for a patient family who can help her build her confidence. Once she feels safe, she’ll happily snuggle up for belly rubs and give you her whole heart! She was returned to us because her former family’s new baby added to her nervousness, so we are looking for a home without young children. She is, however, great with other dogs. If you are interested in helping Gwen find a safe place to land and be loved forever please submit an application. Due to her breeds no apartments please! If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee + tax Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee + tax Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
Chico is a very active dog who needs a lot of attention and plenty of exercise. I had gotten Chico from a coworker of mine for my dad as a gift. My father unfortunately passed away August of 2024. So I took him in and tried to care for him as best as I could. Given my current occupation I am unable to provide the attention Chico needs. Just trying to put Chico’s needs first and get him a better life he deserves. Chico’s new home. I am looking for a family and or a larger home where he has the space he needs. A large yard would also be ideal, but is not required. I have everything Chico will need for his new home. Food storage bin, food, crate, crate pad, bed, treats, cleaning supplies, toys, & elevated feeding station with bowls.

Story
Aster is a happy, outgoing AmStaff who simply loves every human she meets, especially the little ones. She gets along with other dogs unless someone growls or gets aggressive with her then she is ready to rumble; she would do well as an only dog or with other dogs that like a peaceful environment.Aster is house and crate trained, although as an only dog she would be fine not using a crate. She is crated for meals and when no one is home in her foster home, along with most everyone else simply because there are several other animals. She would love to have her family to totally devote herself to and take care of. She is totally engaged and observant; ready to do what is asked of her.Aster is fully vetted, current with vaccines, spayed; micro chipped; and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Meet beautiful Minnie Mouse! She's one of our Diamond Dogs with a reduced adoption fee of $125.  She is looking for someone to watch the super bowl with and praying that someone will be on her team forever. Minnie is a laid back girl. She is so loving and will just lean in on you. She is patiently waiting for her person. In this life, you're meant to have one great dog, One that shifts something deep inside you, in a way you never saw coming. She shows up maybe when you need her most, maybe when you least expect it. And in the smallest, most ordinary moments, she changes you. Sh e could be the one you need because she doesn't try to push she just stays near showing you a kind of love you didn't think existed. And that's the thing about that one great dog, she makes you question how you ever got by without her. You look at her lying there, and realize she's given you more than you ever thought - no big speeches, just a presence, that says I'm here with you. And somehow that's enough to change everything. Minnie is an absolutely stunning girl that is easy to love. Her tail softly wags when someone pays attention to her. Being surrendered to the shelter where she was a staff and volunteer favorite did not change her sweet disposition but she was so happy to be rescued and is now looking for her fairy tale ending in her foster home. They never asked to be in the situation humans put them in and they are just begging for a shred of comfort, that’s why we fight for every last one of them.  The only thing Minnie wants is a home - a forever home - where she'll be loved and truly considered part of the family. She's been unlucky in love in the past, but she doesn't let it stop her from sweetly greeting and loving every person who comes her way. To Minnie friends provide attention, comfort and sometimes even yummy treats! Minnie loves attention and being close, especially shoulder massages and gentle back scratches. She knows how to sit and waits very patiently for treats and takes them gently. She would love to join you on some weekend walks - there are so many amazing things to see and sniff and explore with a friend!    Minnie is a spayed female three year old Staffie/American Bulldog mix with beautiful soft white fur with adorable brown spots the colors of molasses and honey, soulful eyes and adorable tipped ears that weighs 72 pounds. She  is friendly, calm but active and is happy for pets and snuggles.  Minnie is well mannered on a leash and loves to go on walks with her foster mom, she like's walks and snuggles, she is up for either.    Minnie is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and older respectful children. She likes to play with other dogs but would also be happy being the only dog with lots of toys...particularly stuffed toys and all the attention. She is hoping to attract the attention of a family who will love her as a member of the family forever. She's deserving of finding a committed person or family who will give her love and attention.  Please assist Minnie by networking for a wonderful, committed family.  She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, Heartworm Negative, and Microchipped and Heartworm Negative.. **She does need special food. We can help with getting her food at cost. If you think Minnie might be the family member you are missing, please complete an application on our website and her foster mom will be in touch. Apply for her today at:      https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/    We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Tater has been doing very well in his foster home since being returned to our care after four years. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve gotten to know him again, and one thing is clear—he is an incredibly sweet and loving dog. Tater is well-behaved, quiet, and laid-back. He was returned because he began guarding his adopters from the other dog in the home, whom he had lived with since puppyhood. We offered to send a trainer, but after learning they had moved to Ohio, it became clear that long-distance support wouldn’t be an option. Given how long this behavior has gone unaddressed, we believe Tater would do best as an only dog. That said, Tater enjoys going on walks, does well on a leash, and is not reactive to other dogs. He loves people, including children, and is both house trained and crate trained. While he does fine in a crate, he also does well free in the home and doesn’t get into things he shouldn’t—he’s just a good boy all around. Tater is a 4 year old English Bulldog/Pit Bull mix. If you’re interested in meeting or adopting him, apply at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days.*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption feeDogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption feeRescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex.
