He’s a great car rider , dog-friendly , and absolutely loves attention . Duke was sadly abandoned by his family at a high-kill shelter, but Trinity Gap Rescue stepped in to give him the second chance he truly deserves . Duke is a total snuggle bug who doesn’t know a stranger. He deserves to spend the rest of his life in a loving home where he will be cherished as part of the family and never left behind again . Duke would be ideal for a family or person who isn’t very active and is looking for a faithful, loving companion . Beau’s past was heartbreaking. He was used for breeding and cruelly discarded when he was no longer “useful.” He was found abandoned outside an apartment complex in North Texas in poor condition, suffering from severe skin infections, painful ear infections, and damage to his only remaining eye (his other eye had already been removed). Thanks to dedicated veterinary care, patience, and lots of love, Beau has healed and is now ready for a fresh start. About Beau • Potty and kennel trained • Enjoys spending time in his kennel and sees it as a safe space • Has limited vision, but excellent hearing and gets around just fine • Loves people, belly rubs, gentle affection, and being close to his humans • Playful and sweet once he feels safe • Calm and chill once he knows you Because Beau was never properly socialized as a puppy, he is dog reactive and will need to be an only dog or time to adjust to a calm non reactive dog.
