Arya is a lovable shelter dog who is in search of her forever home. Arya was brought to the Darlington County Humane Society on 7/27/2023 with an injured leg, which limited her ability to play and raised concerns about her interactions with other dogs.Sadly, due to overcrowding and concerns about behavior issues, Arya found herself on a euthanasia list. However, fate intervened when her foster mom heard about her situation and immediately visited Arya at the shelter. In a heartwarming moment, Arya climbed into her lap and gave her one of her signature hugs. Touched by this sweet and affectionate gesture, her foster mom decided to take a leap of faith and brought Arya home instead.Arya quickly adapted to her foster family, consisting of eight other dogs, including one with a neurological disorder.
