Are you looking for that best dressed companion going into the holiday season? Sir Fredrickson III is looking sharp in his black and white tuxedo look alike! Fred is a 2 year old mixed breed and loves to please his hoomans. He loves to play with his K9 foster siblings and responds well to their correction if he starts getting too rough and tumble. Fred does fine with kids but at this time we are saying no cats. He is young, playful and strong though, so a home that will teach him about boundaries at first will be most beneficial for his transition. Fred is crate trained, house broken, and very successful with the sit, stay and leave it commands. He has been amazing with learning how not to rush the door and potty trained on a tie out leash so no more standing in the dark or the rain! We are still working on leash walking skills and controlling excitement when greeting people. Fred is also neutered, UTD on vaccines and microchipped. If interested in meeting Fred, he's anxiously awaiting in Carlisle PA! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
