Skye is a very smart dog and is looking for an active family to adopt, and a fenced in yard would be necessary. Skye would not be a good fit for a first time dog owner. Meet Mr. Magoo!! This charming, blind dog is one of a kind! He is approximately 8 years old and weighs 50 lbs. He has a wonderful personality! Mr. Magoo was named after the volunteer's favorite cartoon! Check out the video, sampling treats at the Grateful Dog Bakery ;-). Mr. Magoo is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands. He is a super laid-back guy. Mr. Magoo is happy chewing a bone on his dog bed or being a lap dog HA!! He is dog friendly and loves all the people he meets. Mr. Magoo does require daily eye drops, but he takes them like a champ. He navigates well and mainly hangs around his dog bed and crate. His temporary foster said he actually does not need a crate, because he does not "wander around" but he is also very comfortable in a crate. We are looking for a retirement home for him and a fenced in yard would be a HUGE bonus. He was originally rescued from the LCDK, he needed treatment for pneumonia and after he recovered Love-A-Stray had him completely vetted at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic. Please consider offering this special guy a forever home or a temporary foster home. Love-A-Stray provides everything needed for the foster program. She is 3 years old, 52 lbs. Sasha is a really sweet and well-behaved girl!! She has a stocky build and beautiful gray/blue fur. Unfortunately, Sasha lost her person due to a health emergency. Sasha is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows all her commands. She is very smart and was professionally trained as a puppy. Sasha walks great on lead and really listens to your commands. Sasha likes to take car rides too! Sasha is dog friendly, but cats are unknown so a cat-less home is best. Sasha is looking for a temporary foster home, while we search for her forever home.
