Story
Benson is an energetic  All American dog. The vet estimated year of birth is 2021. He loves people and loves attention. He walks very nicely on a leash and doesn't pull or zig zag. He would be a good running partner. He has ignored cats while out walking but hasn't been cat tested. He is very exuberant and is a lot for some dogs. He needs a good introduction with confident dogs. ~Adoption donation $300. All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. She's also fully house and crate trained, ensuring she's well-behaved and comfortable in any home. Her friendly nature extends to other dogs, making her a perfect addition to a household with existing furry friends. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pebbles is a 4 yr old female American Staffordshire Terrier. She is an absolute love bug and loves all people big and small. She loves to greet you with a wiggly butt and will climb in your lap any chance she gets. Pebbles had a tough life before coming to the rescue. She was found wandering the streets with another dog and then ended up on the euthanasia list at a local shelter. She was pulled from the shelter just in the nick of time and boy is she thankful.   Since coming to the rescue Pebbes is learning what it is like to feel safe and secure. Pebbles is continuing to work hard on her housebreaking skills. Sometimes when she feels insecure she puts on a tough girl act. This is especially true when it comes to other dogs. Some dogs she acts big and tough with and others she gravitates towards them and wants to mother them. she is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vetting. she likes to be close to you and loves to get all the cuddles. She loves, loves her treats and is just waiting for her forever family to find her. **To complete an application please go to http://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. Story
She is a sweet girl who lives to be with her people. She loves to play fetch or just snuggle on the couch. Her favorite is to lay down by a warm fire.  She would be the best addition to a family with kids who are a bit older.  While she is super friendly, she doesn’t know her own size.  She would also be great for someone who wants a true loyal companion- Athena is your girl.  I do not crate her and she is fully house trained.  She would love to end this year with a forever family.

Story
Meet Gina 🐾 Gina is a resilient and sweet 7-year-old pup looking for a loving, patient home. While she’s had a tough past, her gentle nature shines through, especially when she’s around other dogs. Chelsea is more comfortable with canine companions than humans and thrives in a home with other dogs to guide and support her. She’s still learning to trust people, but with time, patience, and understanding, she’ll blossom. Important Disclosures for Potential Adopters: Heartworm Positive: Gina is currently heartworm positive and being treated using the Moxy/Doxy protocol. This alternative method avoids the painful injection treatments but may take longer (up to a year) for her to test negative. Next Steps: After adoption, you can choose to continue this protocol or discuss injection treatments with your vet (cost estimate: ~$1,000). Regular monthly administration of Advantage Multi is essential, along with strict activity restriction until she tests negative. Plan for a heartworm test in 3-4 months to monitor her progress and determine when she can safely resume normal exercise. Eye Condition: Gina has some scarring on her cornea and iris, which has remained stable since her last check-up in July. Recommendations: A veterinary ophthalmologist could provide more specific guidance on her eye health, prognosis, and treatment options. While the scarring is chronic, there is a possibility her cornea could be more vulnerable to ulceration. Behavioral Notes: Gina experienced some behavioral changes while in her previous home, including reduced responsiveness and forgetting boundaries. What We Know: Neurological exams and bloodwork have ruled out underlying health issues like liver or kidney disease. These changes may stem from anxiety or stress related to her puppy mill background. Personality Traits: Gina is more comfortable around dogs than people, and she’ll thrive in a home with other calm, social dogs. She’s still fearful of people and needs a patient adopter to help her feel safe. Currently, she allows petting but only when gently approached. Gina Ideal Home: A calm, quiet environment with other friendly dogs. An adopter who understands her need for patience and is willing to give her the time and space to adjust. Someone committed to managing her health needs and providing regular vet care. Gina has so much love to give and will be a loyal companion to the right family. If you think you can provide Gina with the safe and supportive home she deserves, please reach out to learn more about her! 🐶❤️
