Hi, I'm Cobbler! I am a happy-go-lucky and goofy pup who is potty trained and crate trained. I am still working on manners when it comes to repenting personal space and listening to directions faster. I can get hyped up easily and will hop around awkwardly or run away from things that scare me like I'm channeling Scooby Doo. When I'm not following my human around, I enjoy lying next to them on a comfy couch or entertain myself gnawing on a bone on my dog bed. I am still uncertain in new situations and can be dog selective, so dog intros should be slow so I can adjust better. I get along fine with the large dogs in my foster home but I would rather follow the humans around. The younger dog and I often wrestle and have good play sessions. He was later diagnosed with babesia, a serious tick-borne illness, and thankfully received the treatment needed & made an incredible recovery.In his foster home, Santana has flourished. I am about a 2 years old and fully grown at a petite 45lbs. I was a mama, but that is history and I am enjoying being part of the day to day living of a human family. I will be your family's best friend, actually I am literally anyone's best friend. I could be your running buddy, your couch buddy, your travel buddy, your kid's buddy and another dog's buddy. I like my runaround, but have also found sleeping in on a Sunday morning and basking on the deck in the sun is very enjoyable. With my short hair with no undercoat, I have a low shed rating, but I may need to be accessorized with a cute coat on winter walks. In short, I am a good natured, go-with-the-flow dog, who is playful and loves a good snuggle. I am well-behaved, potty outside, rides well in a car, sleeps in a crate at night but can be left alone in the house outside of the crate with no issue. I know "sit and "wait and I am food motivated so I will learn all the commands quickly. I greet everyone with love and happiness. I am excited to meet other dogs and love to play. I enjoy running around the back yard with toys and balls. I love a good run and going on leash walks. I have been introduced to a cat and although I am curious, I don't want to harm them. In the evening, I'll hang out on my bed, but love a snuggle on the couch.. I am up-to-date on my vaccines, heartworm negative and spayed.

Her new skills include: place, sit, down, and wait.Pancake is learning about being comfortable on leash and enjoys short walks through the neighborhood.
