Story
Usagi is an extremely affectionate little hunk of love. A champion cuddlebug, she will happily sprawl out next to her humans, curl up in the curve of their legs, or smoosh in between them. Big spoon, little spoon -- Usagi adores it all! Usagi also provides boundless entertainment with her silly antics! She's a master back scratcher, wiggling around on the couch with goofy grunts of contentment. And belly rubs! Usagi will flop onto her back, with paws dangling, and extort all the belly rubs she can! She also occasionally gets the most adorable zoomies and will race in circles, grab a toy, and buck like a little bronco. Usagi's playfulness is incredibly endearing but her bullish affection and rambunctious play style would likely overwhelm small children. She would do best with human playmates ages 8+. When it comes to other pets, Usagi wants to be your one and only. Other doggies make her feel nervous (even from a distance), so she needs a family that will respect her boundaries and help her feel safe. Incredibly in tune with her people, she will thrive in a calm, steady home with a doting pet parent or family. Usagi is crate-trained, house-trained, and well-mannered on the leash. Although she would enjoy a fenced yard where she can lounge in the sunlight, she's perfectly content to take a quiet stroll around the block, or even toss her toy around indoors. Eager to please, Usagi is also a quick study with a vast repertoire of commands, including Sit, Down, Stay, Spin, Leave It, Come, and many more. Check out the videos of her showcasing her skills! Usagi really is the whole package. Once she connects with you, she'll do just about anything to make you smile. However, she often feels anxious in unfamiliar situations, and she needs reassurance to help her feel safe. With patience and encouragement, Usagi is steadily building her confidence. For example, she used to always be very scared of new humans, but now she'll happily greet neighbors when out and about! All it takes is a slow and gentle introduction. Usagi melts her foster parents with her sweet, affectionate gaze, the press of her meaty little paws, and the smooshing of her blocky head against their cheeks. She will bring boundless love, cuddles, and laughs to her forever home! HEALTH Usagi is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She takes daily anxiety and allergy pills, happily gobbling them up like treats! HISTORY Usagi spent some time at a local animal shelter after she was found as a stray. PHYSICAL Usagi is an adorable stocky mix -- mostly white, with large brown patches and some small, dark polka dots. She is short and muscular with adorable chunky paws. Usagi has stunningly gorgeous blue and gold eyes, a mottled pink and brown nose, and soft, floppy ears.

Story
I am about a 2 years old and fully grown at a petite 45lbs. I was a mama, but that is history and I am enjoying being part of the day to day living of a human family. I will be your family's best friend, actually I am literally anyone's best friend. I could be your running buddy, your couch buddy, your travel buddy, your kid's buddy and another dog's buddy. I like my runaround, but have also found sleeping in on a Sunday morning and basking on the deck in the sun is very enjoyable. With my short hair with no undercoat, I have a low shed rating, but I may need to be accessorized with a cute coat on winter walks. In short, I am a good natured, go-with-the-flow dog, who is playful and loves a good snuggle. I am well-behaved, potty outside, rides well in a car, sleeps in a crate at night but can be left alone in the house outside of the crate with no issue. I know "sit and "wait and I am food motivated so I will learn all the commands quickly. I greet everyone with love and happiness. I am excited to meet other dogs and love to play. I enjoy running around the back yard with toys and balls. I love a good run and going on leash walks. I have been introduced to a cat and although I am curious, I don't want to harm them. In the evening, I'll hang out on my bed, but love a snuggle on the couch.. I am up-to-date on my vaccines, heartworm negative and spayed.

Story
I got George Bailey from the Wake Animal Shelter. He is 1yr 2mos - 5mos old. George Bailey is a good doggie. He is well potty trained. When he is ready to go, take him for a walk and he goes pretty quickly without forever searching for the perfect spot. This dog needs an experienced owner. I am not experienced with a young, strong dog like this. He has a lot of energy and in those times he will chew. He does ok with chew toys. I take him on walks a lot but when I have to leave him alone he might tear up my room. I have removed all things he might chew from my room. My dad sent George Bailey to boarding school at Haven Dog Training (https://havendogtraining.com/) for three weeks. So he has been taught a few useful commands. Sit, Place and Break, Kennel. He, also, has been trained with an e-collar. He can go to bars - although you have to advocate for him - overly handsy people might get nipped at. He is good around other dogs - uninterested. Great dog for the pit lover!

Story
Iris is a sweet, sweet girl. I recently adopted her from a local shelter after discovering that she was up next on the list to be euthanized. Iris is heart worm positive, but I have started her treatment and I am willing to continue to cover the remainder of her treatment through Raleigh Animal Community Hospital. Iris gets along AMAZING with other dogs. I have taken her to many parks, public areas, restaurants, etc. The ONLY flaw about Iris is that she does not get along well with my cat. I currently live in an apartment with another dog, plus my cat and Iris, and it has become difficult to manage separating my cat from Iris in a small apartment. Iris is up to date on all vaccinations, she is spayed, and she is truly an amazing pet. She is such a snuggle girl, she loves to sleep with me and my other dog at night. Iris is crate trained, potty trained, walks on and off of a leash wonderfully, and is non-reactive to other dogs throughout the community. She is obedient, gentle, and loving
