Story
Gracie is an approximately 1 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She is roughly 50lbs. She has come around since she first came in. She has lived with cats before and seems to be happy to see other dogs. We aren’t sure if she’s been around children. At this point she would probably do best in a quiet, patient home to help boost her socialization. If you’d like to meet Gracie, please call Livingston County Dog Control @585-243-6740, please leave a detailed message if no answer and we will call you back as soon as possible, thank you!

Story
🎊 The time has come! 🎉 Tater is ready to find his new, loving home, but be warned! You must prove yourself worthy of this gem of a dog! 🧐 We have LOTS to say about our sweet potater… Tater is a BIG boy who thinks he’s a rhino stuck in a dog body, and his tail is basically a whip when wagging, which is always! So while he does like children, they need to be robust. 😆 He’s gotten much, much better about meeting new people, but at home does take a minute to warm up. Tater looooooooooooooooooooves cats, but he can be annoying to them if they don’t reciprocate his feelings. Tater does very well with laidback dogs, but he won’t tolerate them being mean to him (understandably). He’s good with horses too! Tater is only 2 and needs TONS of activity daily. He’s excellent off leash and spends lots of time exploring and running with the four wheeler, so an active home is required. He does well on a leash too, rides pretty well in the car, and is housetrained. Though Tater’s separation anxiety has gotten significantly better, he still, for the time being, would do best in a home where he wouldn’t be regularly alone for long periods of time. Due to his past experiences with crates, we’d recommend he be in something like a mudroom when left. His Prozac will need to be continued as well. Tater is looking for a foster-to-adopt home so we can be completely certain it’s the perfect fit. Someone is going to get the BEST dog, one so full of love, smooches, and snuggles that it never runs out. Being sad around this happy boy is impossible. Tater is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and straight perfect! 😍
