Story
Mister is a joyful, sweet-natured boy with a heart as big as his smile! This handsome guy is the perfect mix of playfulness and cuddles—he’s always up for a game of fetch with his favorite ball, followed by cozy snuggles with his people. Mister is one of those dogs who can light up any room with his wagging tail and infectious, happy grin. Friendly, adventurous, and great with kids, Mister is truly the total package. He does well with other dogs as long as introductions are balanced and easy-going. However, Mister is not a fan of feline friends, so he would do best in a cat-free home. Potty-trained and crate-trained, he’s got great manners and is ready to fit right into your home with ease. Mister is currently heartworm positive, but don’t worry—his treatment will be covered, and he's ready to heal up in a loving, forever home. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and spirited companion who will shower you with kisses and fill your days with joy, Mister is waiting for you! Heartworm is unfortunately quite common in Texas due to the warm, humid climate that allows mosquitoes, which spread heartworm, to thrive year-round. Many dogs in Texas face this risk, but the good news is that heartworm treatment is very effective. With proper medical care, including the treatment provided at adoption, dogs can fully recover and go on to lead long, healthy, and happy lives. With preventive medication, heartworm can be kept at bay, allowing dogs to enjoy an active, fulfilling life with their families. To add Mister to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2219801##

Story
Meet Tia! If there were ever a butt wiggling contest, this silly girl would take first prize. She loves to shake her booty and bring you a toy to welcome loved ones home. Tia is a sweet three-year-old, 68-pound pit bull terrier who doesn’t need much to feel content. A true homebody, her daily happiness recipe consists of 4 simple ingredients. 1. Fetch! Tia is a diehard retriever. She runs hard and fast to fetch any kind of ball and does so with a huge pittie smile. She actually prefers to play in her own yard rather than go on walks or have extensive exercise. 2. Tricks! Tia also loves one-on-one training. She’ll gladly sit, shake, stay, or do some other action, though don’t forget the treats. 3. Chilling out! Tia is a master of cuddling and relaxing. She’s always ready for anything involving blankets, pillows, tummy rubs, and snuggles. 4. She has a high prey drive & needs an experienced owner w/ dog to dog aggression. Fenced-in yard with little to no dogs. Love her yard & home

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rocky is ready to find a FOREVER home or even a foster. After being with a foster almost a month and only getting positive feed back I was contacted Friday evening stating he was acting possessive of his yard towards the 11 year old neighbor and they couldn't take any chances with him. So Saturday morning I picked him up. I've not seen any possessiveness over anything and we have people of all ages coming and going all the time as I have kids myself. In my honest opinion Rocky is pretty close to perfect. He is house trained, great with all dogs of all sizes, he even does well with cats, kennel trained, rides well in the car, doesn't jump, walks well on a leash, amd minds well. He makes 9 dogs at my house and although he is cared for he needs a FOREVER FAMILY. Where he gets all the love. .He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, on flea/tick prevention. He is heartworm positive (which isn't contagious) We have given him a proheart 12 which is a slow kill method of ridding the heartworms amd much easier on his 10 year old senior body. . Please consider fostering or adopting sweet Rocky. He really is the best. Please apply at www.savedbygraceanimalrescue.com Rocky is currently in shreveport Louisiana but we do adopt out of state and transport can easily be arranged.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 7:16 pm
