Story
Meet Cyrus, the delightful  Staffordshire Terrier Mini Australian Shepherd mix born 4/30/23 and weighing in at 50 pounds. Cyrus is a clever and potty-trained pup, always eager to learn new tricks for a tasty treat.  Cyrus's unique blend of breeds brings together the agility of an Australian Shepherd and the charm of a Staffordshire Terrier, making him the perfect companion for both shopping sprees and cozy evenings at home.Although initially reserved, once he trusts you, he transforms into a Velcro dog, sticking by your side with unwavering loyalty.  Cyrus was one of nine puppies born to Mama Ember who was brought to Nebraska after being dumped in the country in Oklahoma, she made it here just in time to deliver her babies in the safety of her foster home. There were some complications due to a breech puppy and Ember ended up being rushed to the vet for an emergency c-section for the delivery of her last two pups. Her breech baby didn’t make it but the remaining nine babies are thriving under her care! The suggested adoption fee for Cyrus is $365. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ is a non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR are adopted with DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already spayed or neutered if old enough, or a voucher will be provided once the dog becomes of age. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1713591##

Story
Carl is a neutered 4 year old male, a large dog at around 70 pounds. He's a tall boy, long legs! He is an American Staffordshire terrier mix. He is UTD on all shots, heartworm negative and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Carl enjoys all the fun games a dog should enjoy, "find it," "hide a toy" or searching for treats hidden around the house that he likes to find. He knows several tricks like sit, down, and the place command and is successful when there are no distractions. His intelligence is through the roof so he learns very quickly. He likes food puzzles, and lick mats. We feel he will do best with kids 12 and over due to high anxiety and being fearful of littler children. He is very loving once he is comfortable around you and wants to sit on your lap. He loves to go on walks but is reactive on the leash, so he will need additional work in that area. He is an only dog that lived in a home with younger children and a cat and he gets along great with the cat. He has attended doggy daycare and they say he does better with smaller dogs, and has stayed with another pet sitter before and he did ok with the dogs that were with her. He has very high anxiety at the vet. (Us too, Carl, us too) So the previous owners were working on muzzle training (for the vet). He is housetrained and crate trained. This handsome boy is available now for adoption so if you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an adoption application. His adoption fee is $275 to offset all vetting costs.

Story
Meet Ryder, a wonderful puppy with lots of love to give! Ryder is the perfect combination of affectionate, loyal, playful, and smart, and he loves giving kisses. He may be a bit independent, as he is still young and just exploring the world around him, but he will always be there to snuggle up close to you. Ryder may be too young to fully know if he gets along with other dogs, but he is very people-oriented and loves making human friends - especially his future forever family! He would do best in a home where he can receive plenty of love, attention, and training as he grows. If you're looking for a puppy with lots of love and affection, Ryder is your boy! I love to meet people and make friends! Please complete an adoption application so I can meet you! Please complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION at http://www.bigredrescue.com. Your $450.00 ADOPTION DONATION will be used to help rescue the next pet in need. (As a rescue we reserve the right to assist the applicant in selection of a pet. Please understand some families will not possess the qualities necessary for certain pets.) OUR RESPONSIBILITY: All adopted pets are (age appropriate) current with rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations. All of our rescued pets are micro-chipped and (age appropriately) spay or neutered. While some of our pets available have been treated for heart worm or tested heart worm negative all of our pets will be current on heart worm preventative. All heart worm information is available to all applicants as this information is crucial to the well being of the pet. Story
Sailor, an American Staffordshire Terrier, was taken in as a stray by a vet clinic in Holden, KS where she gave birth to eight beautiful puppies in September. Sailor's estimated birthday is March 31, 2022. Sailor is currently thriving in her foster home where she enjoys ice cubes, peanut butter, and playing with her human kiddos. When she hears "night night," she knows that it's bedtime, and this little smartie gets right in her kennel with a small treat.  She also knows "wait" and "gentle."  When playing fetch, she sits politely without being told.  When relaxing, Sailor enjoys watching the dog channels on YouTube.  We've learned that Sailor doesn't like loud noises, which seems to be her only negative trait. We predict that Sailor will be a valued addition to some lucky family. The suggested adoption fee for Sailor is $365.  Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1838312##

Story
Sidney NE area Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier/ mystery fusion  Birthday 03/23/2022 Dog friendly Cat friendliness unknown, she was good with cats but she hasn’t been around one in her current foster home so a little hard to say for sure Kid friendly, as long as the children have DOG MANNERS  House trained Needs a SLOW FEEDER BOWL She will crate with no issues. She needs work on house manners but she’s a quick learner and super eager to please. Does decent on a leash, she is strong and does pull sometimes so some work on that will be needed Loves to cuddle, has no idea of personal space Sunbathing is a favorite past time  Loves a routine Fully vetted  70lbs approx    Austyn has grown up in rescue she is very loved by us and by her foster family BUT she is so deserving of her FURever home. She has had little to no interest since birth. We have no idea why she’s had such little interest, we thought she would be one of the first to be adopted. Unfortunately she is still waiting, we would REALLY love for her to find her people.    Not only is Austyn the cutest chocolate gumdrop, she has such a charismatic personality. She is right behind her sister when  greeting ppl and welcoming them to the home. She is on the more independent side. She is more of an act now and think later type of girl.  She really needs her people or a foster home with less dogs and more attention so that she can blossom and reach her full potential. She can get protective over toys and bones with other dogs but we think part of that will subside in a home with less dogs. She just wants more attention and love than she’s given. She’s crazy eager to please and has so much love to give.    This girl is such a beautiful girl inside and out. She loves people, is doing decent on a leash, but she is strong, it’s just her sincere and deep love of life and everything that every day has to offer!    If you’re interested in adding this, sun and fun loving, super star cuddling, party ready insanely fantastic girl PLEASE contact us asap!   http://www.highplainspaw.org https://www.facebook.com/HighPlainsPAW : https://www.facebook.com/groups/836373273962895/?ref=share https://www.highplainspaw.org/adoption-application   https://www.highplainspaw.org/foster-application highplainspaw@gmail.com (402)957-1578  . .    $.   ( 5013 . , ' .)   means, altered, up to date on vaccines, HW tested if applicable and on flea/tick preventative (chemical or natural, aka no buggies)    , . This means there is no place for you to go in person to view our dogs.
