We adopted sweet Ronan "Ro" from the Humane Society in Coon Rapids in October 2024. He is a very affectionate boy. He loves to be active and play outside! He is absolutely wonderful with all children, but seems to get anxious around little ones, and can be very protective, so he would do best in a home with older children. He also does not do well around cats. He has never shown aggression towards them, more playful, but after 4 months is still chasing them, and they are not getting used to him unfortunately. He deserves to be in a home that doesn't make him so anxious with little ones and cats. We love Ronan and this has been very hard for us, but he needs to be rehomed.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Wasabi is a super friendly girl who loves EVERYONE! She gets very excited to meet new people and sometimes can jump up, but she is getting much better at controlling that. She is actually starting to "bow" instead! It's so cute! She's housebroken, sleeps in her bed at night (we didn't have a big enough kennel, so we gated off our closet). She whines just a bit if the lights are still on or she hears people talking. But once the house is quiet, she's good all night long! She loves hugs and kisses and some snuggles, but she does seem to prefer to rest on her own as long as you're close by. She isn't much of a barker. Doesn't react much to doorbells or doors opening and closing, or even when people come into the house. Her biggest trouble spot is protecting ALL food from our cats. We feed them separately, but she still gets paranoid when the cats are walking around. She feels the need to direct them. There's been growling and barking...and some (for lack of a better word) booping them out of the way with her nose. She has never once attempted to put her mouth on either of them, but she can get a bit noisy and nosey if she feels they are not following direction (which they never do...because they're cats, LOL) She is reported to be good with other dogs per the shelter, but we have not had any experience. He's got lots of big feelings for such a little body, and he's still learning what to do with them. He takes everything at 110% and doesn't always make the best choices, but he has a lot of love to give. He is an absolute ham! Just a goofy guy! He also loves to be in your lap! He will grab his toys and bring them into your lap to chew on, and he wants to be next to you all the time. He's a bit much right now for cats, kids, and other dogs because he just doesn't know what to do with himself or how to have good manners. But with time, patience and training, you'll have the goofiest and sweetest little best buddy ever that I think could be a good fit with other animals and older kids. Koopa is from a local shelter. Age: Approximately 8 years old Weight: 67 lbs Dog friendly: Yes, needs slow intros as she's very excited Cat friendly: Unknown/not tested Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes but is known to escape Brooklyn was found in her fosters’ neighborhood as a stray, and had a large hematoma on her ear. Her beautiful golden eyes stole her fosters’ hearts. She has since gotten her surgery and has healed nicely. She is a super sweet dog who loves all humans and is amazing with the loud 2.5 year old boy living with her. So far she is good with more submissive dogs. She gets along great with her foster dog sister, and has shown no aggression toward the male dog living here too. she needs slow intros when meeting new dogs as she gets very excited to start her play session. She is fully potty trained, as well as knows her basic commands. She would benefit from some extra walks on leash to learn not to pull. It's just so exciting outside! She is great with kids. We have an almost 3 year old and she is fantastic. She has also met the older neighbor kids and was great with them too. We haven't met a human she doesn't like yet. At home she is very happy to meet new people. Will occasionally jump from excitement. She doesn't love to be in a kennel while you're gone. She's worried you won't come back! But she does great loose in the house while we're away. Brooklyn is excited to spend her later years with a nice family getting all the snuggles and kisses she can. Adoption Fee: $295
