Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Cordelia: A Joyful and Goofy Staffordshire Mix Looking for Her Forever Home Meet Cordelia! A charming and resilient two-year-old Staffordshire mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that won't quit. Cordelia is social pup ready to find her forever home. She is incredibly friendly and loves to be part of the action. She's quite assertive, especially during greetings, so an experienced owner who can guide her behavior would be ideal. With a high prey drive, Cordelia isn't suited for a home with cats, and slow introductions to other dogs would be best. This clever girl is as goofy as they come, always ready to play and make you laugh. Though she's around two years old, she still has the energy and curiosity of a big puppy. Cordelia. If you're looking for a smart, loyal, and fun-loving companion who just wants to be part of the pack, Cordelia could be the perfect addition to your family. With a bit of guidance and a lot of love, Cordelia is sure to become a cherished member of her forever home. She will definitely give you all the love back!! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: Eden Prairie, MN Beast is a loving boy who will always great you with a big kiss and many tail wags. He sleeps like a rock and does wonderful in a kennel if needed. Beast is also learning about treats and that it's okay to eat them. It is recommended that he has a fence that is higher than 4 foot as he can clear it with one jump if he wants to. He does very well on walks and will recall when told. Beast is also very curious about cats and is gentle with them. In our free time, it is all snuggles and snoozing. Beast is also wonderful with kids. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Adoption Fee: $460, plus tax (FOSTER to ADOPT ONLY, please read!) Location: Foster Home Minnie has the most expressive eyes and is a nice, petite size. Minnie LOVES her humans. She is very tuned into pleasing her humans and is very attentive to the tone of voice and watches her humans closely. She loves her belly rubs, this is one of her favorite "activities", she is friendly to all humans she encouters. She knows a "sit" command and is very food motivated. She walks well on a leash and is mostly potty trained. She sleeps well through the night and does well in a kennel. She loves humans more than other dogs. But she gets along well with other dogs as long as they don't push the boundaries. She gets along with older non-dominant dogs. She would thrive in a home as a single pet or with other non-dominant dog. She hasn't been cat tested, but she doesn't have prey drive with chickens, which is a good sign when it comes to felines. Medical Information on Minnie: Minnie has been diagnosed with three mast cell tumors. A mast cell tumor (MCT) is a type of malignant (cancerous) tumor consisting of mast cells. Mast cell tumors typically form nodules or masses in the skin, but they can also affect other areas of the body, including the spleen, liver, intestine, and bone marrow. MCTs are the most common skin tumor in dogs (7%-21%). Most dogs with MCT (approximately 85%) only develop one tumor. Carver Scott Humane Society will have the three tumors removed prior to finalizing Minnie's adoption. Minnie can be adopted as a foster-to-adopt as CSHS will be covering the expense of the mass removal(s). CSHS is wanting to be completely transparent with protentional adopters regarding Minnie's medical history. Minnie still has a lot of life to live and deserves a forever home of her own. Continued monitoring of previous or new lumps/bumps with the adopter's regular veterinarian is highly recommended. If you are interested in meeting Minnie, please fill out an application on the Carver Scott Humane Society website today!
