We adopted sweet Ronan "Ro" from the Humane Society in Coon Rapids in October 2024. He is a very affectionate boy. He loves to be active and play outside! He is absolutely wonderful with all children, but seems to get anxious around little ones, and can be very protective, so he would do best in a home with older children. He also does not do well around cats. He has never shown aggression towards them, more playful, but after 4 months is still chasing them, and they are not getting used to him unfortunately. He deserves to be in a home that doesn't make him so anxious with little ones and cats. We love Ronan and this has been very hard for us, but he needs to be rehomed.

Her beautiful golden eyes stole her fosters’ hearts. She has since gotten her surgery and has healed nicely. She is a super sweet dog who loves all humans and is amazing with the loud 2.5 year old boy living with her. So far she is good with more submissive dogs. She gets along great with her foster dog sister, and has shown no aggression toward the male dog living here too. she needs slow intros when meeting new dogs as she gets very excited to start her play session. She is fully potty trained, as well as knows her basic commands. She would benefit from some extra walks on leash to learn not to pull. It's just so exciting outside! She is great with kids. We have an almost 3 year old and she is fantastic. She has also met the older neighbor kids and was great with them too. We haven't met a human she doesn't like yet. At home she is very happy to meet new people. Will occasionally jump from excitement. She doesn't love to be in a kennel while you're gone. She's worried you won't come back! But she does great loose in the house while we're away. Brooklyn is excited to spend her later years with a nice family getting all the snuggles and kisses she can. Adoption Fee: $295

I am a local owner surrender through the respite program. From his foster: Titan has been in my home for two months, he adapted quickly to his new environment. He is such a lovey, cuddly and affectionate sweetheart of a dog. He thinks he is a lap dog, loves to be on the couch in your lap getting 110% of your attention. He’s not a fan of smartphones, laptops or books as they divert attention away from him. He is kennel trained, but much prefers cuddling in bed at night and being by my side all day. When I work from home he likes to participate in zoom calls, if I let him he’ll speak up to encourage a short call followed by some play time. Keep away and tug-a-war are his favorites. He also likes to play tag, but he is never “it”. He is very high energy and would do great in a home with older kids who like to play rough and wrestle. I do have cats in the house with him, he does like to chase them, so they mostly stay separated. He loves other dogs, is very friendly and playful with them. He seems to be more comfortable around women and resident men, when a new male comes to my house he has some dominant behaviors we are working on. He is very food motivated and trainable. He would be a great addition to your loving family and can’t wait to meet you!
