Her beautiful golden eyes stole her fosters’ hearts. She has since gotten her surgery and has healed nicely. She is a super sweet dog who loves all humans and is amazing with the loud 2.5 year old boy living with her. So far she is good with more submissive dogs. She gets along great with her foster dog sister, and has shown no aggression toward the male dog living here too. she needs slow intros when meeting new dogs as she gets very excited to start her play session. She is fully potty trained, as well as knows her basic commands. She would benefit from some extra walks on leash to learn not to pull. It's just so exciting outside! She is great with kids. We have an almost 3 year old and she is fantastic. She has also met the older neighbor kids and was great with them too. We haven't met a human she doesn't like yet. At home she is very happy to meet new people. Will occasionally jump from excitement. She doesn't love to be in a kennel while you're gone. She's worried you won't come back! But she does great loose in the house while we're away. Brooklyn is excited to spend her later years with a nice family getting all the snuggles and kisses she can. Hi everyone! My name is Michelangelo and I am a 9-month-old Staffordshire mix. I weigh approx 55 lbs. I came into rescue with my 3 brothers - we were named after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I’m excited to tell you a little about myself because if you wanna know, I think I’m pretty fantastic! I am currently living with two dog friends, a cat who I’d like to be friends with, and my foster mom. I love to play with my dog friends - we go outside and wrestle and run. When it’s rest time I like to cuddle up with my friends or my foster mom. At night or when my mom leaves I have to go in this thing called a kennel. Foster mom has to throw a treat in there before I will go in though. Once I eat my treat I settle in for sleep and don’t make a sound till morning. I am so curious about this cat creature! I just want to play with her and sniff her, but she isn’t interested. When she runs away I am sure she’s playing so I chase her, I just want to be her friend. In fact, I was playing ball one day and I thought she’d like to play too so I put the ball on the chair in front of her and waited for her to throw it. She didn’t do anything, but I tried to include her in my playtime. I am still working on potty training but getting better every day. I go outside on a schedule and never potty in my kennel. My foster mom has potty pads in the bedroom and if I can’t hold it I use those. I just haven’t figured out how to let anyone know that I need to go out. I like to go for walks, but I do pull just because I’m so excited to see and smell new stuff. I’m willing to learn to be a better walking partner if you’re willing to teach me. My tummy gets a little upset when we go for a ride in the car. A little Dramamine makes that go away and I’m good to go on adventures. I love to chew on bones, although chewing apart a stuffed animal is just as much fun. I am just a big puppy at heart, in fact, I occasionally still think I’m a lap dog. I am very food and treat motivated so training won’t be a problem. I would do best in a forever home with another dog or kids to play with. I rarely bark, mostly just to get my furry friends' attention. Why don’t we meet and you can see for yourself just how great I am? Cowabunga Dude! Meet Rafael! He was born approximately March, 2024. He came from a litter of 4. They named the puppies in the litter after the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! We welcomed him into our home as our newest foster when he was around 5 weeks old. He was so tiny at 3 pounds that you could put him in your pocket. Boy has that changed! Today he weighs about 30 pounds! He's such a cute little snuggle bug. He loves to play and wrestle with his foster sister Wasp. He does great with our other two resident dogs as well! He's super friendly with everyone he meets. We're still working on the house training though. He will let you know when he needs to go outside to use the bathroom but if you don't stop what you're doing right away and let him out, he'll decide to just do his business wherever he's standing. He sleeps every night in crate with no issues at all. He gets along great with our children ages 8, 12, and 14. They love to sit and give him lots of love and attention. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home! I’m the goodest boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I’ve been polite around cats and can happily share a home with them. I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Story

Hello Boxer Lovers! Misun here but my foster family calls me Bruno! I am an adorable 2 year old white male that is the calmest boxer you will ever meet. I have all the fantastic boxer characteristics like giving tons of hugs and kisses. My foster family works from home so I really need a human that is home most of the time. I don't like to be alone and hate a kennel. I sleep nice on my own bed on the floor in their bedroom. Of course I would rather sleep in their bed but I am pretty big. I love naps or "resting" with my foster mom and have to be laying right up against her. A fenced yard and a mellow playmate would be appreciated. I don't mind cats if they don't mind me. I walk okay on a leash but can be stubborn about where I want to go so I just stop. Sometimes my foster dad has to really push me to go the right way on our walks. I am very tall and weigh about 75 lbs. I sure don't know my strength so small children are not a good idea. If you love boxers and are looking for a super sweet, calm, loving boy that can spend lots of time with you, I am your guy! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
