He is fostered by the home owners and begins to trust them and all people- but horrifically is shot in the face by their neighbor while standing on the sidewalk one day. Traumatized and with a fresh jaw fracture repair surgery he is urgently moved to another foster home for his own protection. In his new foster home he is treated with medical care, patience, time, and most importantly love. Flash forward to today- his physical wounds have healed but he still is healing his emotional scars. Comet was a shelter pull at risk of euthanasia due to space and the time he had been there. We were able to get him full vaccinated, neutered, and even allergy tested. He’s been doing great on the specific allergy friendly food he is on.
