Story
Jolene is a 10+ year old girl. She came in as a stray but turned into an owner surrender. Her owners cousin was supposed to be watching her for him but he threw her out on the streets instead, and her owner could unfortunately not take her back due to his current living situation. She is a very sweet old girl, she still has plenty of spunk to her. She will run around the yard still a little bit and she loves toys. She does great with kids, and gets along well with cats and other dogs. She isn't very interested in playing with other dogs but she will play with you. She really loves to play tug of war. She also loves to snuggle and lay down with you as well. She does have a little bit of arthritis going on, she has a leaky bladder and she has a little bit of flaky skin. We give her fish oils and put coconut oil on her back. We have been giving her pain meds on her bad days when she is really limping, but that isn't very often. She has been with us for a couple of months now and needs to be out of here ASAP!

Story
Rocky is a 2-3 year old neutered male, who is up to date on his vaccines. He came from a bad situation, living on a farm after he showed up there and the man living there didn't want anything to do with him. He left him tied out by the side of the road in front of the house and only gave him water sometimes and scraps every now and again. The family who brought him to us was able to talk to the man and he said they could have the dog. They kept him for a little while but he became too much for them because he is very high energy and loves to go. He is a super sweet boy and loves to run around the backyard and play. He is very high energy so he needs to go a home that is on the go and likes to be active, or has another dog that he can play with. He is usually pretty quiet and just hangs out in his kennel and plays with his toys. He is very treat motivated and will come running if you have them. He will snuggle up with you and sleep in your lap once he has all of his energy out. He does great with kids, and does well with cats and other dogs. He keeps a clean kennel, but when we have if out with us in the office he does occasionally mark but it isn't often. He is also able to jump onto chairs and tables. He has a little bit of allergies but it is not bad, we give him some Benadryl and that does help quite a bit. He needs to be out of here ASAP!

Story
Ellie is a 4-5 year old spayed female and she is up to date on vaccines. She came in as a stray to us back in April of 2024. She was found walking around on trail cameras in several peoples back properties in October of 2023. She was not spotted often but was spotted enough to get people questioning who she belonged to. She wasn't seen at all during the winter, but was seen again in late February of 2024. One of the people who spotted her began feeding her so she was showing up at her house regularly for food. It started off slow and eventually the woman was able to come up to her and pet her once. Ellie would not let her grab her though. A live trap was set to catch her and after another month, she was finally caught and she has been with us ever since. She needs someone who is willing to work with her and will go slow with her. She gets very easily excited but she also gets very easily overstimulated. Once she gets overstimulated, she redirects to nipping and jumping on you. I have been working with her to sit and chill out before I will mess with her and acknowledge her at all and that has been helping a little bit. She is not as nippy and jumpy as she was before. She is very treat and toy motivated so if you have one of those things, it is a lot easier to handle her. I do not think she knows how to be with people anymore since she was out by herself for so long. Once she settles down she is fine, it just takes her a little bit to get to that point. Ellie is a sweet girl once she gets to know you. She a little weary of new people but doesn't take long to warm up if meeting them in a different setting outside of her comfort area. She is a very high energy dogs and LOVES toys, running around in the yard, and chasing after any toys you throw for her. She is very other animal aggressive and would not do well with children because of her reactiveness. She does do okay on a leash and loves going for walks. She also does pretty well in the car and loves going for car rides. She needs to be out of her ASAP!

Story
Tito is seriously about as handsome as it gets, and just as sweet! He is 2.5 years old and just a beautiful soul. He is shy with new people, and we believe he'll do best as the only pet. He needs to build some confidence to get over his fear of "new," but he warms up quickly and oh my goodness, you just won't find a more loving and snuggly cuddle buddy. He is just an absolute doll who wants to be loved. He is fully vetted and his adoption fee is $250.

Nyx is a such an adorable peanut! She was the runt of her litter, born 09/26/24. She is fostered in a home with multiple other dogs and cats, and she loves them all. She loves to play and wrestle with her dog buddies, so she would definitely be happiest in a home with another playful dog. Nyx is a bouncy ball of joy, a great cuddler, loves car rides, and she's 95% housebroken.
