Story
We adopted Yari in 2020. He was a great addition to our family and we are heartbroken to have to find him a new home. We recently had a baby and he is not adjusting well. When we adopted him the shelter was as upfront about him not getting along with most dogs, unsure about cats, and unsure about children. We have another dog that he does well with, and a cat that he does well with. He is a very sweet dog but needs to be in a home with no other pets or children. Please reach out with any questions.

Story
Neo may be 8.5 years old, but you’d never guess it by the way he runs, spins, and plays! Known for his goofy personality, he’s famous for his silly zoomies! Neo absolutely loves toys and can get pretty rambunctious when he’s playing with them. He would do best in a home without small children who could accidentally get caught in his excitement. While he’s generally mellow, Neo’s playful bursts are full of energy and fun. Neo can be selective of his canine playmates and prefers mellow dogs like himself. Cats aren’t a good match for him, but if there’s a rodent problem, Neo’s got a history of taking care of those! Neo is looking for a home that can appreciate his goofy energy, love for toys, and sweet personality. If you’re ready for a fun and loyal companion, Neo is eager to meet you!*ADOPTION SPONSORED*

Story
Hi there, I`m Spy! I am a happy go lucky guy. I was the longest resident at my previous shelter and no one is sure why. I am a goofy boy that loves to play with toys, especially interactive ones like kongs, snuffle mats and puzzle feeders! I first came to my previous shelter as an unsocialized ten month old puppy, but the staff have worked hard with me to get me where I am today! I am dog selective and would do best with older teens(15+)/adults. Cats and I don`t get along since I am overly curious and want to chase! Other than that, I am one darn good feller.

Story
Hello there! I`m Addie, a bright and affectionate girl seeking a loving home that can offer me the attention I crave. I enjoy treats, car rides, cuddling in bed, and outside play-time! I`m well-behaved with basic commands like sit, lay down, and shake. I`m also fully house-trained! I can be sensitive being touched in certain areas and would do best with teens and adults only. I can also be nervous around men. I`ve previously gotten along well with male dogs and submissive females. I am dog selective and would need slow introductions. I would need a home with no cats. I`m ready to pour my heart out to you! Stop in to say hello today!

Story
Hi everyone, my name is Sota . I got to go to a foster home for a weekend a they want me to share their note! I went in looking for more of your “typical family dog” and ended up with this sweet little girl ! I know most people don’t go to the shelter to adopt a pit bull and she wasn’t my first choice either but they all deserve a chance to have a family to help out . I do not know much of Sota’s story because it was a very busy night trying to get as many animals out of the building as possible and was it very hectic at the time . Sota is definitely a female pit mix and is a real sweetheart ! I can’t remember if her tag said she was spayed or not yet . She seems fairly young . She has lots of energy and loves to play. She follows me around every step I make she’s right there . I am not certain how she is with children as I do not have any small children in my home . I feel as though she would be best being in a home without any other dogs or at least not one with 3 other females like I have . I also don’t see any signs of food aggression. I hand fed her and held a bowl for her while she was eating and even pulled the bowl away to slow her down . She did just fine . She also seems to be treat motivated . Soda loved her car ride to my house and did very well in the car, she had a bath after we got home and did very well with that too . She walks great with a harness and leash but pulls with the leash attached to the collar . She listens pretty well for a dog who has been in a shelter . She definitely loves being around people . We have had to keep her separate from our other dogs but have been giving her time alone with us in the house so that she has been able to be “part of the family”. She takes her treats very gently too . She has a bit of separation anxiety but only whines to be near us . For the most part she is potty trained and she has only had 1 accident which was in her crate while we were gone to work . She could benefit from a slow feed bowl as well . She has really enjoyed her stay with us and I’m sure she will be devastated when we have to take her back to the shelter . Unfortunately we can not keep her since we are full. The mess she made on the floor was a toy that was already torn up by one of ours and she just helped remove some more stuffing and had the best time doing it too! Please take a look at her and or many of the other cats and dogs at the shelter and consider adopting so these precious

Meet Bruce! Bruce is around 3.5 years old and is a pit/boxer mix. This playful and energetic pup is completely house trained—never has an accident! He’s also a zoomies expert, and loves to spend his time sprinting outside. Bruce was surrendered with another dog, but we are unsure how he does with cats and he would prefer a home without young kids. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, reliable companion, Bruce is ready to make your home his own!
