Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Beth (beth.lemmerman@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application ›   Spunky is super sweet and playful. Earning her name Spunky. She absolutely loves other animals, kids, toys, and life in general.  She is  housebroken and crate trained. She responds to her name and has decent recall.  She is working on leash manners, sit, and other basic commands.      One of her littermates adopter’s did a dna test and they were kind enough to say we can share the results that came back mostly staffordshire and pitbull, a little boxer, and a supposedly a bit Pyrenees even. From what we can guess by their weight and growth they will be large dogs maybe somewhere in the ~50-70lbs range. At 7months old she weighs 45lbs   CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped. Breeds are our best guess as is any estimated size when they are full grown.    CARE is an all-volunteer and foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility and do not have any employees monitoring inbound applications and emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal’s volunteer foster home. It may be several days before you hear from this animal’s foster home. Thank you for your patience and understanding.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 1, 2025, 4:53 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Poe – The King of Cozy and Professional Snack Seeker Poe has brought more happiness into our home. He loves nothing more than to snuggle next to you on the couch and get as many pets as he can. We haven't done DNA testing on him but wouldn't be surprised if it comes back part piglet. He audibly oinks when trying to get you attention and continually while eating his food. He is very smart, he will run straight to 'crate' on command and loves having his toys there with him. He wants to impress and is doing great learning some commands, he still gets very excited with treats so he doesn't take them gently yet. Because of that he probably wouldn't be best with little humans that are running around with food at this moment. I feel that with some more training it wouldn't be a problem at all. He has shown no signs of resource guarding and has done great with our other dog. He would do well with a four legged sibling or he would also be okay on his own. He loves to explore and would be a great brewery or brunch buddy. Whoever adopts Poe will be so lucky to have him as their new best friend.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 11, 2025, 8:20 pm

Story
Woof! I'm Storm, a 4-year-old female Pitbull. I'm a sassy, snuggly pup who has always been by my brother Shadow's side (you can find him listed here too) and our human Dad. But in late August 2024, things changed, and my human Dad had to move to be with suitable caregivers. You see, my human Dad worked so hard to walk and talk again after a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2015. I joined the family in 2021 and picked my human Dad as my person. Since then, I've been glued to his side, whether he's sleeping or just watching TV. I love communicating and talking to you when I'm happy and excited! I'm bonded with my brother Shadow and get anxious when he's out of sight. Right now, my brother Shadow and I are staying at a safe, fun boarding kennel until March. After that, we'll have to go to a shelter to find a new home. 🐾 Could you be the loving home we've been searching for? I'll bring plenty of sass and snuggles your way
