Story
Blue is a two year old pit and weighs about 45 pounds. He is a beautiful blue/gray color. He came to Hands to Paws as a puppy along with his mom and a sibling. He was adopted out at about 3-4 months old. Sadly the owners surrendered him back along with his fur sibling because they now have a baby on the way. Blue loves car rides, taking walks and being with his people. He is good with other dogs. Blue loves toys and treats and his time on the couch getting affection. The previous owners put Blue and his fur sibling outside and they were kept out there 24/7. Being bored, Blue would sometimes dig up the lawn or flower bed. Also due to the lack of contact, Blue still jumps up on people when he sees them due to excitement. Blue has been an escape artist and can climb chain link. He can also jump up about 4 ft. Blue is completely vetted, microchipped and neutered. To inquire about an animal or submit an application visit https://www.hands2paws.org/adopt.html

Story
Drifter was found by a rescuer that cannot keep him. He is good with other dogs and is patient with my puppy. He is so loveable and he just wants to sit by you or climb in your lap. He is good around horses, chickens, and other animals. He is playful and loves to play in the pond and with the water hose as he bites and jumps at the water. He enjoys long walks and is pretty good on a leash. He will walk into his kennel without any problems. Drifter loves kids and is good around my 3 cats. He is outside in a kennel most of the time but he has been in the house several times and has had no accidents. Drifter is about 6 years old and he weighs 51 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots (DHLPP, rabies, and Bordetella). Drifter was treated for heartworm disease and has just finished his treatment. If you’d like to meet Drifter, please call 706-799-6099. This pup is posted as courtesy and is not affiliated with the Humane Society of McCormick County (HSMC). HSMC is not liable for this pup and an adoption of this pup would be independent of the HSMC. By courtesy posting, we are offering our website as an additional outlet to help an owner or rescuer gain additional exposure for the dog they are trying to place.October 27, 2024, 9:28 pm
