Story
I have had Boomer for 8 years and he has been a man’s best friend without doubt. I adopted him from the humane society in Greenville, SC, in early college and he has been through so many stages of life with me. He is a very intelligent dog but he can be a little stubborn. I have a 1 year old daughter and she doesn’t know boundaries with dogs and is continuously getting in his face. He snipped at her the other day (it was My daughter’s fault) but it just has not set right with me. I do not want to get rid of him but I couldn’t live with myself if he were to bite her. I never wanted to be the person to give up on my dog but I genuinely don’t have the time to keep him or my daughter in check. If you are someone that is looking for a dog that will have your back and has a lot of personality, he is the one for you. Again he is a very intelligent dog, can learn almost anything you care to teach him.

Story
Charlie is a beautiful brown and white mixed breed dog who LOVES to fetch frisbees! She also loves her chew toys and her very favorite thing is to be massaged by her person. Her coat is so soft! Her current family raised her for the last 10 months. She has been through two 4-week training classes and knows many commands. Her family committed to her for life, but she lives with a bonded pair and there has been a fight between her and the other female, and they are now having to be separated 100% of the time. The family is heartbroken to rehome her but they feel she would be happier in a home where she is the only dog. We are looking for an experienced dog owner to adopt Charlie. She is still very nervous of new things and will need a patient family to continue her training and assist her with growing her confidence. The adoption fee of $150 will be placed on account at your veterinary hospital of choice. Potential adopters will be asked to fill out an adoption form. Thank you!

Story
Big Dog is a gentle giant with a big personality. Some of her favorite activities include lying around, using other dogs as pillows, staring at you, and sleeping. She is pretty lazy but enjoys cuddles and thinks she is a lap dog. She is turning 9 years old this year but doesn't show it. She has lived in a home with 6 other dogs, is crate-trained, and is not often food-aggressive (she has been able to be fed outside of a crate with other non-aggressive dogs). She is very playful and enjoys tug-of-war either with you or other dogs. She does well on car rides and a leash. She would most likely do well in a relaxed home with periodic exercise.

Story
Crate trained, walks well on leash, good on car rides, great with kids and super sweet. Took her in from a neighbor that was going to take her to the shelter because their other dog was not getting along with her and they wanted a new puppy. She gets along great with our two small dogs and plays with them when they have their free time together. She knows they are small and is respectful. I raise Nigerian Dwarf goats. We have seven dogs, rescues, and need to get down to four due to finances. Georgia is the most adoptable with her only issue being that she has a strong drive to get to my baby goats if she can see them. Because of this, she has her own stall in the barn and cannot be in our larger fenced area where she can see the baby goats because that becomes her focus. She is fine with cats and is okay with the adult goats, but the babies are a different story. She needs a new home ASAP as I have another doe that will be having more babies at the end of January.

He has a buddy and his name is max, they are friends and keep each other company so it will be great for them to stay together if possible. Chopper is older but very strong and also kind with kids. Is a big baby and very sweet. Chopper does listen to basic commands.
