Story
Lilo is a super friendly and lovable 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is looking for her forever home. This affectionate girl loves to cuddle and is always ready to snuggle up beside you when she’s not busy playing with her toys. Personality and Traits Affectionate: Lilo loves to cuddle and be close to her humans. She’s happiest when she’s either playing with you or snoozing right next to you. Friendly: Gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages. She may initially bark at unfamiliar people but quickly warms up. Playful: Lilo enjoys outside time and playing with chew toys. Strong chew toys are recommended since she loves to tear them up quickly. Trained: Knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and lay down. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained, as long as she has a stable outside routine. Skittish: Can be very skittish at times and may have accidents inside if not kept on a regular schedule. Keeping toys with her in the kennel helps prevent her from chewing on things. Ideal Home Lilo has some separation anxiety, so a home with other animals or someone who is home more often would be ideal for her. She needs a family who can provide her with plenty of playtime, exercise, and affection, and who will help her feel safe and secure. Routine Lilo’s day starts at 8 AM when she goes outside to potty, followed by breakfast at 9 AM. She enjoys playing with her toys, spending time outside, or napping throughout the day. Lilo goes outside every 2-3 hours and has dinner at 6 PM. She loves treats and chew toys between meals.

Story
Hello my name is Tilly. My birthday is 9/2/22. I am a very sweet girl with territorial problems. I would love to find a home where it is just me and my human. I love snuggles, car rides and my squeaky ball! We got Tilly from a shelter as a puppy. She was a great little girl but with our other pets it has caused some issues. This is a really hard decision for us but for the safety of our other pets and for her this is in her best interest. She would be an amazing emotional support dog for someone who wants a dog to give them all of their attention. She is on nexguard monthly and Prozac daily for anxiety but could probably come off in a new home. She also has allergies in the summer and gets a shot. We think she is allergic to our grass so the allergies could go away in a new yard. She has had one surgery for a lump on her side to be removed (not cancer) but nothing else has come up. She is up to date on her rabies shot but that is all at this time.

Story
Sascha is a beautiful and loving young lady (5 YO in March) who loves to play, socialize, cuddle and snooze. She is a loyal and affectionate dog who loves doing anything and everything with her people. She needs a yard for exercise and a family who will treat her like a beloved member. She is house trained and knows basic commands: sit, stay, lay down, up, shake, get in your bed. She was crate trained earlier in life and will (begrudgingly) sleep in her crate during travel. Sascha would do well in a family with older children - she is athletic, and her enthusiasm and love of play can intimidate small children. She enjoys playing tug, fetch and frisbee, and will make quick work (demolish) most toys. Due to a chronic medical condition, I am unable to continue caring for Sascha. She will return your love tenfold and will always be by your side. The adoption fee includes a small supply of food, two dog beds, a crate, and a basket full of toys and grooming items.

Story
Available in TX only! Meet Leona, the epitome of warmth and affection in canine form. This delightful rescue pup has captured hearts with her boundless love for cuddles and kisses. Whether she's nestled on the couch or curled up in her crate, Leona's affectionate nature shines through, making her the perfect companion for cozy evenings. Not only is Leona a cuddle expert, but she's also a model of good behavior, thanks to her impeccable crate training. Her foster family can attest to her gentle demeanor and loving personality, which extends to her interactions with other dogs. Leona particularly adores the company of more submissive canine friends, fostering a sense of harmony and companionship wherever she goes. While it may take Leona a little time to warm up to her new people, once she does, she becomes a friend for life. She has an affinity for women, therefore, we are looking for a home with a female adopter. Her loyalty knows no bounds, and she'll stick by your side through thick and thin, offering unwavering companionship and endless love. Despite her friendly nature, Leona understands the importance of introductions, so a meet and greet is recommended to ensure a smooth transition into her new home. With Leona by your side, every day is a testament to the power of love and companionship. Get ready to be swept off your feet by this affectionate furry friend who's eagerly awaiting her forever home. She is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX. Story
Available in TX, PNW & NE (excluding NH and MA) This handsome man is Jake Gyllenpaws. Jake is a real model and is good at stealing hearts with his good looks. His foster mom says Jake has the "model look to him. He lays down and when you stop petting him, he looks back at you with "Blue Steel." Of course, this look often ends with more pets and kisses for the sweet boy. How could you not just love all over this boy? Jake loves to cuddle on the couch and be by your side soaking up all the love. After being stuck in the shelter, Jake has been working so hard on his doggie manners and wants to show you how far he's come. He can sit, lie down, and has been working on learning to stay. He is potty trained and loves to be outside in a yard with his family. He doesn't much care for the crate, but his foster family is committed to showing him it can be a pawsitive place. Jake is a gentle boy and sensitive. After his last vet visit, he looked quite sad, so his foster mom took him to get a pup-cup and it made him very happy again. Jake will require continued spoiling and love, as he deserves the best. Jake is living with 2 other dogs in his foster family and loves having play mates. They get along very well outside of treat time. Jake would prefer not to share. It's likely best to feed Jake separately from other resident dogs since he's still learning that sharing is caring. This Jake Gyllenpaws isn't a fan of cats. A home without felines is best for him. Jake is a velco boy and loves to be with his family. His human foster brother is turning out to be his best friend. Jake is learning to be gentle with him because he gets so excited when he sees him. Although Jake hasn't met any smaller children, we think he would do well with kids over 10. He does like the zoomies and with his zest for life, he may knock over the smaller ones trying to play. Sweet Jake is a real lap dog at heart and loves being by your side. If you're looking for an energetic and loving pup to join your family, Jake Gyllenpaws could be the perfect match for you! All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
