Fierce as flames, with a marshmallowy center, Kora is a girly all her own. She is a five year old Pittie mix queen with Brindle colors, and white patches. She is very shy when meeting new people, and doesn't care to be crowded. She would much rather prefer one on one sessions, even after she has met you a few times. She absolutely adores playing fetch with tennis balls, and carries a giant smile the whole game. She also loves to walk around the yards, checking in with you to see if you are close by. She does enjoy treats, though if she is nervous, she tends to turn them down till she gets her bearings. She likes to be the only pup, and doesn't care to share her space with other animals. She is currently working with a Woof Pack leader on her basic obedience and social skills. She walks decently on a leash, but when she wants to turn back, she is quite stubborn. Kora needs quite a bit of patience, as she tries to figure out her surroundings. Lacey is a true little princess. She is the most loving, sweet dog but she just doesnt get along with other dogs. She loves to play, and snuggle. We have a 11yo male as well (he is neutered). When we lived in NY we had the ability to keep them separate. When they would be together they would be fine for a couple of days and then go at it randomly. We moved down to Florida in april. Everything seemed ok, but within 2 weeks of us being down here it happened again. We have a baby gate and i rotate them during the day. Its become alot on me but i do it. I am now pregnant and she is becoming more and more territorial over me. She went after my male again while we were sleeping. I dont want to see either of them hurt and its very hard to keep them seperate 24-7. She is my world and reserves the best. I hate to even have to think of this, but she would thrive in a home where she was an “only child” and received all of the love and attention herself.

Momma and Sasha were recently adopted, but after only two weeks, they were returned due to no fault of their own. Their adopter’s fence was broken and they felt unable to keep them safely contained, so they made the decision to back out. These girls deserve so much better. I have had the privilege of fostering Momma and Sasha, and I can honestly say that they are two of the most loving, loyal, and well-behaved dogs I’ve ever met. They are fully vetted, spayed, house and crate trained. They adore people and have the sweetest personalities, but they are highly reactive to other dogs. Because of this, they must be in a home with no other pets and a secured fenced in yard.

I adopted him from the Humane society of Sarasota and my situation has turned into an emergency situation and I need to rehome him. This happy girl lives up to her name, a sassy personality indeed. Sassafras is an adult beauty, with a brilliant smile that brightens anyone's day. She is the life of the party and loves to be the center of attention. She can not wait to go outside and either go in the yards and sniff everything possible, or go on a brisk walk, leading the way.
