Hi, I’m Wednesday! I’m 47 pounds, 5 years young, and just the right mix of fun puppy energy and grown-up manners. I’m a little reserved when I first meet new people, but once I know you’re friendly, I’m all in for belly rubs and snuggles. According to my foster parent, I’m a total goofball who loves to play fetch, chew my toys, and show off my zoomies around the yard. I’m fully potty-trained, crate-trained, and I sleep soundly through the night. Thunderstorms? Loud noises? No big deal. I’ve also learned my foster parent’s daily routines and am happy to chill out at home while you’re at work. I’d be perfectly happy as your one-and-only pup--I really love soaking up all the attention I can get! Zeus is a 57-pound boy with a sweet smile and a distinctive “Harry Potter”–style scar on his forehead that gives him extra character. He was surrendered when his owners could no longer care for him, and he is adjusting to a new environment with patience and curiosity. Zeus is playful, independent, and very affectionate once he feels safe. He’s also great on a leash, knows how to sit, and has shown good behavior around other dogs. Loud noises and unfamiliar people can make him nervous, but he responds well to calm reassurance. Because he previously lived outdoors, Zeus will need help learning the basics of house training and adjusting to life inside a home. He’s a gentle, vocal dog who needs time to build trust, but once he does, his affectionate nature truly shines.
