Story
Olivia was saved from Broward Animal Care and Adoption Center last month along with her 2 sisters. They were on the urgent list due to having a minor case of noncontagious demodex mange. The girls did display reactivity toward other dogs after leaving the shelter, but have made improvements as we hoped with time to decompress. Continued socialization and structure will only help Olivia continue to become her best self. She does well with her sister and has tried to play with the foster's dog, but that dog is not interested. Olivia is 5 - 6 months old and 22 pounds. The shelter has her listed as an American Staffordshire Terrier mix, but we don't know for sure. Her skin is healing wonderfully and she will be completely healed in no time. Olivia is looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home ASAP through no fault of her own. A home with a balanced dog(s) and fenced yard REQUIRED. A home with a child(ren) will be considered after discussion. Olivia is a sweet and sensitive cuddle bug. Olivia is a sweet cuddle bug. She is crate trained and sleeping through the night in the crate without any accidents, roughly 8 hours. She’s a people pleaser, but still gets nervous when meeting strangers and new dogs. She still has accidents in the house on occasion mostly because she’s roughhousing with her sister and forgets she needs to go potty. Olivia has, on a few occasions, given her foster indications by going to the door that she needs to go out. Olivia walks on the leash, but needs more work as she still wants to walk all over the place. She is getting pretty good at coming when her foster whistles.

A home with a child(ren) will be considered after discussion. Reba is crate trained and can sleep throughout the night with no accidents, roughly 8 hours. She is lovable, but has lots of energy and wants to play all the time. She is a thoughtful dog and sometimes will sit and watch things play out around her. Reba is a happy girl. When playing with her, or sometimes even petting her, she gets a little mouthy. It starts out with licking, and then she starts to get her teeth involved, but it’s gentle. *Puppy mode activate* Little Miss Reba will bark for attention when she’s in the kennel. She does get a little worked up if she’s in the kennel and other dogs are outside her kennel, but once out of the kennel she seems fine. Just wants to play. Reba does like to chew on just about anything. She needs more work on walking on the leash. Reba gets pretty nervous when going out for walks and meeting new people, so continued exposure is needed. She is getting pretty good at coming when her foster whistles.

Story
Meet Otter! Otter is a big love bug and one of the best dogs around! He has a wonderful energy and a happy attitude! Otter is 7 years young and large in size! He is extremely house broken and well behaved in the home! Otter is good with other respectful dogs and (preferably bigger) kids! He is truly just a big baby and enjoys calm and serene environment. He just wants to sit at your feet while you watch t.v. or read a book. Otter did have ACL repair surgery in December of 2022 (RL leg). He has long since recovered and you would never know he had surgery...Otter had a difficult past and was neglected and mistreated. He has been a resident of pbc acc on at least 3 different occasions - once found as a stray, and twice surrendered by two different owners. He was then rescued by Shining Horse Rescue in 2022, only to be surrendered to acc AGAIN when they closed and surrendered all of their dogs. Otter deserves a forever home where he can feel safe and comfortable for the rest of his life! Adopt Otter! The adoption fee is $200 The age requirement to adopt is 25+ years old.   All dogs are spayed or neutered, chipped and UTD on hw and flea preventative and all age appropriate vaccines.  ##2048463##
