Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. You may recognize this handsome tripod Kingston. Kington is a Staffordshire Terrier born around 5/8/2021. He was adopted as a young pup, but unfortunately, he's just too interested in their livestock. Despite all efforts, including training, Kington's Family realized their home is not the best environment for him so they are hoping another family will be interested in giving this sweet boy a second chance at Forever. Here is what his Family has to say about him: Wiggles (AKA Kingston) is 78 pounds of pure love. He is gentle, innocent, kind, and extremely affectionate. He loves car rides, is great with kids and other dogs, and has an abnormal obsession with water. He loves to be gently sprayed with a squirt bottle and tries to bite the stream water coming from the hose. He hasn’t met anyone that he doesn’t love and will smother you with kisses. He got the nickname “Wiggles” because when he wags his tail his back-end wiggles ahead of his front end due to his missing back leg. He loves to sunbathe in the mornings but has to be limited because he burns easily due to his fair skin. He loves to eat the occasional raw chicken egg (shell and all) but he will also chase and try to catch chickens- so he must be supervised. He is a right hind leg amputee and thus does have some mobility limitations, but not many. He will need help in and out of the car because he cannot jump. He is extremely strong and needs a proper harness when walking. Wiggles does have skin allergies, much like many of his counterparts and requires medicated baths weekly- which are simple because he likes baths. Wiggles will only go to a home that is active, has plenty of time to spend with him, will take him on car rides, and is financially able and agreeable to provide vet care for routine needs and for his allergies. He deserves the very best, as do all dogs. Since Kingston is a medium sized dog, we like to recommend a home with a fenced yard to get daily exercise.
