Story
Sweet Cray came to our rescue after he was injured in his former home. After being treated for his injuries at the ER on Christmas Eve, he rehabbed in his foster home. He is a quirky, knee-high little boy who loves to explore the yard. He gets along with other dogs and does well with cats. He is curious about all new things. Cray is approximately 9 months old. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and started on a monthly flea and heartworm preventative. For more information or to fill out an application for Cray, please email animalfriendssociety@hotmail.com

Story
Hiya! I'm Maxine. I'm still young, but I am a quirky little gal with a big personality. My favorite things to do are cuddle and give you every last kiss that I have. I also enjoy playing with children and other animals as well. I love to snuggle whether with you or a stuffed animal, but my sisters may say that I'm a bed hog. Don't let my cute looks fool you, I can't wait to hang with the big dogs! I'm a sassy girl at times but they just call me a drama queen, whatever that is. I know how to sit and I’m very smart and love to follow people around. I'm super affectionate and love to give hugs already. I'm looking for my forever home hopefully full of snuggles and kisses and more snuggles. I live with my foster mom in Winter Garden, FL. If you are interested in adopting me, please call 954-298-1951.

Story
Ginger is a wonderful, loving house dog that loves human company. We no longer have the time to care for her ever since our son was born, so we are looking for someone who's gonna take really good care of her. She loves running outside and snuggling the most! She has been through dog training, crate training and is potty trained.

Story
Tricia is a fun-loving, spayed, ~45lbs, compact bundle of joy! Tricia loves to play with other dogs, toys, and water hoses. Tricia has lived with cats and does best with confident cats. Small foster kittens are a little too exciting for her, but this is expected for such a playful pup. Tricia enjoys mental and physical enrichment including food puzzles and would make an excellent hiking or other adventure buddy. Tricia was a hit with several Tampa Bay Buccaneers players at a recent event and has never met a stranger! Tricia has only been around children briefly during events and has taken treats gently from them but may accidentally knock smaller children over. Tricia responds very well to positive reinforcement training techniques and responds to the cues sit, shake/paw, down (as in lay down), off (great to use when tempting counter treats are within sniffing range!), touch, and place. Tricia is also house trained! Tricia can sometimes get a little overwhelmed and extra excited but is easily redirected with toys and/or treats. If you're looking for a dog who will be your partner for all of your fun activities, Tricia is your girl!! All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org.

Story
Hope and Buck The verdict is in - these two are amazing! Hope is certainly the more shy out of the two, but that doesn't stop her from leaning in for soft scratches and gentle snuggles. Buck can't contain his excitement when he sees a human or another pup! He is such a good boy! He does the absolute cutest tippy tap dance while wagging his tail that honest to goodness melts our hearts every time we see it. Here's what we've observed so far: Hope is a 64 lb sugar pie! housebroken crate trained gentle on the leash a perfect passenger can be shy at first (but still leans in for love) dog friendly loves affection Buck is a 60 lb snugglebug! housebroken crate trained (but prefers to be next to you) pulls slightly on the leash but is easily corrected a perfect passenger outgoing and curious when meeting new friends dog friendly loves affection BOTH pups are incredibly sweet and grateful for every little thing they get (beds, treats, toys), but most of all, LOVE. They are working on mastering basic commands and top-notch leash skills in their foster home. And while we'd love for them to find a home together, these two can be separated if the perfect homes come along. If you're interested in adopting Hope and/or Buck, fill out an application at https://animalluvrs.org/ All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. Story
Meet Pea! Pea is a sweet, 2 year old terrier mix that was a deadline plea from a local shelter. When she arrived to our rescue, she had been experiencing neurological episodes that caused her to fall over, but they had no known cause as her blood work and imaging were clear. She was also heartworm positive but we couldn't begin treatment until we got to the bottom of what was going on with her medically. Luckily, Pea has shown major improvement while in foster care, and while she sometimes has balance problems, major health concerns have been ruled out. She has begun heartworm treatment and is now ready to look for her forever home. Pea is crate-trained and house-trained, and she gets along great with both dogs and cats. She wags her whole body every time you talk to her or pet her, and she really is happy all the time! Pea's ideal home would be with someone who is looking to add an extra special pup to their family. Dog and/or cat playmates would be a bonus, but all she really needs is someone to love her.
