Story
We welcomed Chloe into our home when she was just 8 weeks old, bonding instantly with her from a neighbor’s litter. Now in her energetic teenage phase, Chloe is well-trained and well-mannered, having worked with a trainer weekly. Chloe would make a fantastic addition to any family, particularly one that is active or has another playful dog. We believe she would thrive in a household with children, as she is incredibly sweet and loving. She also does pretty well with the cat! Despite our love for Chloe, we feel it’s best to find her a new home where she can truly flourish. Our current space is too limited for her, and our schedules make it difficult to provide her with the necessary outlets for her energy. We are confident that Chloe will bring joy and companionship to her new family, and we are committed to finding the perfect match for her.

Story
Vivienne (affectionally will be called Viv for short) is looking for an adopter or foster who's in need of a new work-out buddy/motivator. WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: Vivienne's motto is "Play hard, love hard!" This spirited girl thrives on fun and adventure, whether she's racing around with other dogs or enjoying quality playtime with her favorite humans. There's no adult, kid, or furry friend she can't get along with-more playmates mean more fun! Once she's had her fill of play, Vivienne transforms into the sweetest cuddle buddy, showering you with kisses and love. She's still adjusting to crate life, but she's learning that the quicker she settles down, the sooner she gets to reunite with her favorite human (that's you!). While she's figuring out that she's no longer puppy-sized and needs to greet you with a calmer excitement, she's making great strides with positive reinforcement training. Viv loves holding hands and being petted, although she's still working on overcoming her fear of nail clipping. With her playful antics and well-timed barks, she'll keep you entertained and make sure you're always the center of her world. If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky companion who will fill your days with joy and affection, Vivienne is the perfect match for you! Come meet this lovable bundle of energy and see just how much love she has to give! Please check out Vivienne's video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WlvkoGjizw -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Ralphy is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: This affectionate, goofy, and sweet-natured pup is always ready to greet you with enthusiasm and love. Despite his larger size, Ralphy has a soft spot for cuddling and often considers himself a lap dog. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves snuggles, Ralphy might just be your perfect match. His playful nature and quirky sense of humor will keep you smiling, while his easygoing temperament ensures he gets along with everyone, human or furry. Ralphy is happiest when he's playing with his favorite toys-pink stuffies and tennis balls-or enjoying his daily walks, where sniffing everything in sight is a must! Though he's a calm couch potato at heart, he needs at least two sniff-filled walks a day to burn off his energy. Ralphy also gets along well with other dogs his size, happily disengaging with a "leave it cue when asked. And don't worry about accidents-this house-trained champ will let you know when he needs to go outside. Ralphy's intelligence shines through in the variety of commands he already knows, including sit, come, wait for me, find it, and leave it. He's also a great communicator-he'll give you a little nose "boop" when he needs something! His love of food makes him a quick learner, and he's been thriving on training walks with his foster mom, even earning praise from a professional trainer for his excellent leash manners. Recently, he's even started picking up his leash and bringing it to his foster mom-talk about a clever boy! One of Ralphy's favorite pastimes on walks is sniffing around and occasionally rolling in the grass (which, of course, only adds to his charm). He's crate-trained and often goes to his crate on his own when he's ready for some quiet time. This independent streak shows how much his confidence has grown, especially in new environments. Once he settles in, Ralphy's cheerful, laid-back personality shines through, making him a constant source of joy and comfort. Ralphy has a special way of winning over everyone he meets. He's a gentle soul, great with children, and greets guests with a warm welcome-though he's still working on his excitement-jumping. He loves meeting new people and always "leans in" for extra affection, showing just how much he adores human connection. Ralphy is ready to find his forever home! If you're looking for a calm, sweet, and loyal companion who will bring joy, love, and lots of laughs into your life, Ralphy is the dog for you. His big heart is just waiting to be shared with someone special-could that be you? ATTRIBUTES: Ralphy has done well with dogs his size and larger. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Tim is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Tim is the biggest love bug who is super excited to do anything his family is doing. From going on long walks to cuddling on the couch. This pocket sized pup is the perfect house hippo! He has phenomenal leash manners and is easily redirected when needed. Tim loves to go on walks with his favorite stuffed animal (too cute!). We think he will do very well in a variety of space sizes (apartment folks!) because he is so quiet in the house and has zero complaints. He is a happy camper in the crate where he naps & sleeps through the night. Tim quickly goes to the bathroom when he is taken outside. He doesn't seem to mind water and was a good sport when we gave him a bath. He is the best in the car - just happy to be on an adventure or take a nap before arriving at your destination. If you are looking for a loving, medium energy pup, Tim can be your perfect match! Story
Hello! Sky is a 5 year old Staffy/German Shepard Mix. She was found in DC at 2 years old on the streets, from which we adopted her. In the three years since, she has become a very loved and very smart dog. She is very attached to her red ball seen in the pictures. It was a quick amazon find, but it's become her pacifier. It is her favorite toy of all three years. She is very smart. She knows all types of tricks "Lay Down", "Sit", "Stay", "Look At Me", "Roll Over", "Drop it" and a few more. She is very athletic. She can jump and leap. She can run and walk. She's gone on runs of up to 8 miles with me, she is the perfect running companion. She is dog reactive, but when using a gentle leader, the reactions are quite muted. She could also be socialized better, given the right circumstances. She is very loving. When she is not playing, she is cuddling. She absolutely loves to cuddle and be at your side.

Melo is almost 7 years old. We got him from the shelter when he was 3. He likes to run, he likes to chill on the sofa and he his great with other dogs and kids hence his name. Unfortunately our first dog is facing significant medical challenges and we cannot afford to have both dogs. We also haven’t been able to give him the time and attention we know he needs. He has no behavioral problems and is a very affectionate dog. Please help us rehome so we don’t have to surrender him.

Story
Rosie was dropped off into this fosters neighborhood and left to fend for herself after obviously having puppies. She went door to door asking to be let in — it was January and rainy and this indoor girl was beside herself. After 10 days begging for help, she found the right neighbor who gave me a call and I brought her into my foster home. She had terrible skin allergies and was oh so hungry! For months she stared at trucks and on walks sat next to trucks — likely hoping it was her people’s truck and surely they were coming back for her. That was Jan ‘23. Flash forward to now, she is a solid 85# and allergies controlled, fur is gorgeous, and she loooooooooves everyone she meets ESPECIALLY men!!! She gets a daily walk and has become a neighborhood celebrity knowing everybody! Lawnmowing guys, city service trucks, linemen, neighbors…. literally stop what they are doing to come give her some petting and a happy hello! A lonnnng roll in the grass is required before walks are complete. She happily wears her raincoat on rainy days and winter coat in the cold months. Rosie has perfect housemanners and asks for very little. She needs to be the only pet in the house though, preferring to be Queen of her kingdom. She requires monthly meds for allergies. Her mast cell tumor was removed with all margins clear, and her Lymes disease treated. She loves car rides and going into stores and meeting everyone she can. A home where she can be Queen is her dream and mine. A busy foster home that requires her to be kept separated is not the ideal place for this social butterfly. &#239&#184&#143Let’s get ready to ruumblleeeeee!&#239&#184&#143   Coming in at 3 years old, 50 pounds, “Ozzy the Ox” will bowl his way into your hearts!   Ozzy loves to be the life of the party, but can easily hang by himself- it seems in his past life he might have been alone more often than not.    Ozzy is: Crate and house trained - Sleeps in his crate at night, and can be by himself upwards of 6 plus hours. You work in the office? No problem.  Not destructive - He’s trustworthy! Oz can be left out of his crate and keep himself occupied with his bones, or a nap- getting ready to recharge for when you get back. Playful - Ozzy loves to play fetch, tug, you name it.  Impeccable leash manners - even when he’s on a longer lead, he opts to check in with his handler. Active - We think he’d love to do outdoorsy things-go on hikes &#239&#184&#143, collect sticks, and run to his hearts content.  Oz is a smart dude, and has already caught onto basic commands, but also practicing “calm” before getting any attention.    Just like his name, Ozzy can be a little bit of “a bull in a China shop.” We think he’d do well in a home with kids 12+ and a home that can continue to provide a sense of “calm” to work on his excitability. Due to his excitability, we are seeking a quiet home with a predictable routine. He is thriving in his quiet, suburban foster home!    Our data base requires us to give an animal a breed.  The breed given to the dog is our best estimate, and should not be used to predict future behavior. Story
Smitty is a sweet soul. He longs for and demands cuddles and pets. He likes to go for short walks. He likes all kind of toys, stuffed toys, balls, ropes, bones, he is still trying to figure out the puzzle toys, he simply pops off the pieces covering the treat instead of sliding it over. He enjoys sitting outside with you for some fresh air Smitty is not reactive, he's very calm with other dogs although he does enjoy a little rough and tumble and what we call big mouth. He is very smart and strategic but gets along very well with Coco (Amer. Bulldog). They cuddle up together, play together, follow commands together, walk together. He is also not aggressive towards cats. He just looks at them and otherwise ignores them. He has a lot of puppy left in him but is eager and willing to learn. He does jump up on people and can be a bit nippy so young children would not be best for him. He really enjoys to nap after a walk or a run around outside. Overall he is a lovebug that expects attention and pets from every one he meets. He's very laidback once comfortable

Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes.
