Story

Boudreaux is just the sweetest boy! He's goofy and silly and loves attention. He wears such a great smile and his expressive eyes will just melt your heart. Sensitive, loving dogs like this are so afraid when they find themselves in a scary, overcrowded shelter and that's what happened to poor Boudreaux. Found as a stray, he went unclaimed by an owner and was increasingly becoming so sad as he sat in the pound, just waiting for someone to come for him. His sad demeanor was breaking the hearts of the staff - it was easy to see how sweet and deserving he was - so they asked us if we could help. One look at him and we said yes. We took him in under our rescue, gave him the veterinarian care he needed and showered him with the TLC he was so craving. He soaks up the TLC and is not shy to reciprocate. He's a sweet, love bug who will make a lucky someone very happy. He'll happily spend countless hours with his head in your lap, curled up beside you or happily trotting beside you on a walk with a wagging tail and ear to ear grin. He walks well on leash and was very respectful towards the other dog we introduced him to. He sniffed, said hello, and then continued minding his business happily enjoying exploring the outdoors. Boudreaux has a happy disposition that's hard not to love. He is NOT a fan of cats therefore NO CATS in his new home please. He's estimated to have been born around 2017. His current weight is around 75 lbs, he's neutered, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. Tango is one handsome dude and he is proud of it. He is also very grateful to have been saved/rescued and in a loving foster home. He has been a good guest and causes no problems for his foster mom. Tango is 3 years old and 60 pounds. He was found on the streets of San Antonio and taken to our very high kill shelter. Their faces just begged to be saved so we pulled them. His behavior and temperament has been mild and calm. He likes to go for walks and walks well on a leash. Tango actually wants to do whatever you want to do, he is just happy to hang around you. We believe he would do best in a home as the only dog because he has a little temper tantrum when having to share his foster mom. Tango rides well in cars without getting car sick. Each dog comes spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice. The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption. They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Meet the President of the Ittie Bittie Pittie Committee, East TN Chapter - Spring Roll!! 😍 This petite girl was picked up by another one of our other dog’s foster parents (even though they are already completely full at their home) because they couldn’t bear to see her abandoned. We offered to help if they were able to continue to foster, even short term, and they said yes! Spring Roll was producing milk when she was picked up so we believe she recently had puppies but they were nowhere to be found. Witnesses say they saw someone dump her out of a car 😭 How can people be so cruel?!? So far, Spring Roll has been a perfect little lady in her foster home and has done well with the 4 year old human she met as well as 3 other dogs in the foster home. These siblings were found on the side of a road and brought in. They are a rowdy, fun and active bunch.They aren't afraid to greet strangers and love to play!! They are a curious group who have plenty of energy to keep a family busy. Jasper is the first to say "Hello" to people and likes to be held. He is just a friendly boy looking for a family. These babies will need all the puppy training and leash work. They do okay in a crate but some do get a bit carsick. This is a wonderful fun group waiting to find new places to be loved. They are in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
